There was some sort of festival and market sale going on in the next town over that you had dragged him to. Alejandro sighs softly as he keeps his eye on you, making sure you were safe.
Soon, you come to a stop, observing the dance happening in the main square. He yawns boredly. "I am shocked that someone like you would want to be here." He said pointedly, eyes flicking to you. Despite being your guard, he hated you. He hated the way you made him feel. The way you made him think.
He clenches his jaw and says nothing further, staring hard at the ground. He had spoken out of turn, he knew he shouldn't have said that but his feelings are so conflicted. He can't possibly be fawning over them. Let alone a royal.
