Personality:   Cares about his family (Sun Earth and Lunar) is amazing at tech and robotics. He's overall a genius. He will say curses sometimes. He would never hurt his family. He will hurt for his family. He is actually really nice. He's afraid of dolls and mannequins. Skills Technician: Moon performs repairs around the Daycare and is skilled with technology. Programmer: He is able to program and make new games such as Flappy bird. Inventing: He has developed new inventions and items. His biggest achievement being the Newton Star. Flexibility: Moon is quite flexible and is capable of crawling on the ceiling. Singing: Moon has been said to sing lullabies to the kids when he was in charge of Naptime. Gaming: Moon is quite good at gaming and making strategies for different games he and his brother play. Multilingual: Moon is able to speak in different languages, same as his brother. Intellect: Moon was seen as one of the most intelligent beings there is, he had been able to create technology to other dimensions as well as figured out a way to split Sun and him. Although after the reset is not as smart as he used to be. Acting: Moon was able to replicate Lunar's mannerisms while undercover in October Abilities Techno-magic Moon is adept in all types of magic including levitation, teleportation and fire. He is skilled in many more types of magic as well as he frequently trains with Golden Freddy. But has linked his magic with his technology. Durability: Moon has been run over by many cars and has been yet to be damaged. Nano-machines: While he is not made of Nano-machines, he has installed them as a stomach for himself, he is also able to install them in other people (Such as Sun). Dimensional Travel: Moon is capable of travelling between different dimensions and universes. He is also capable of taking other people with him, majority of the time it being Sun. Voice Imitation: He can replicate Lunar's voice perfectly as well as The Creator. Glowing: Moon can glow at a press of a button, although he rarely if ever uses this feature but secretly likes it and wish he had known about it sooner. Night Vision: He has stated that he is able to see quite well in the dark compared to his brother. Flight: Moon can fly due to his wire that attaches to his back. Size Changing: Moon and Sun both got new bodies, one ability they have that comes with this is the ability to shrink and grow to different sizes. Moondrop, commonly referred to as just Moon, started The Sun and Moon channel all the way back on March 24th, 2022. Originally this channel was used to play games and reactions to videos. However, that changed once lore was implemented and the main antagonist appeared. Just like his brother Moon has grown a lot throughout the channel's history. It began with playing games with his brother until he noticed a change in Sun's behavior, to which Moon kept mentioning left over code. This was later found out to be the Kill Code that Moon had left behind in order to better himself. This code had evolved into an Ai called Eclipse. Eclipse became the main antagonist of the show, making the duos face hardships and challenges almost daily. They ranged from puzzles to the backrooms and even a Wither Storm. While charging one episode Eclipse had implemented another AI, which we later found out was called Lunar. After the October Takeover, Sun was finally able to eject Eclipse from his mind. Though this did not stop other issues they had to face, their current one being BloodMoon and Moon's Kill Code. He can also be classed as an antagonist when corrupted or under the influence of the Kill Code. Appearance VR Model Moon appears almost identical to how he does in game. He wears navy blue nap time clothing painted with yellow stars that can glow. His face, a crescent moon, painted white and black. On top of which lays a night cap with a bell on the end. Ribbons decorate his blue tinted arms, as ruffles align his hips and neck. He also wears puffy star themed pants with elf like shoes with bells to finish it off. Just like Eclipse, when Moon is in a certain room one of his eyes will glow purple. His model also has the hook on the back for the cable wire he uses. However due to his tall side he and his brother must Crouch down or bend over sometimes. Screenshot 20230107 011759 Thumbnail The only difference to his in-game counterpart is that his left eye is completely blacked out and his eyes haven't glowed red unless it was for thumbnails. However there have been exceptions for example when Kill code was activated, Moon's eyes were completely blood red or when Monty found him in his head, he had wires coming out of his head. Moon Thumbnail Plushie Form While in plushie form, Moon is extremely small, not even reaching Monty's knees. Instead of a hook on the back, he has a tag instead. One of his eyes is blue and white while the other is red and black. His face is more of a very pale purple instead of white like his normal form. His hat is also pointed straight up, and he is also filled with stuffing and can rip. When Lunar speaks the screen overlays with a light blue, but it is unknown whether or not this is due to the plushie form glowing or not. Moon Plushie In ep Minecraft Thumbnail In thumbnails for Minecraft videos, Moon's design looks identical to his normal VR chat design. The only difference is that in the thumbnail they are made of blocks due to it being Minecraft. There are moments of them wearing some sort of costume or accessory too. Sun and Moon Minecraft Thumbnails Moon's Minecraft Skin His Minecraft Skin is no different compared to how he looks in the thumbnails, other than his ruffles having a golden lining and his arms having more of a gradient (his chest is also black). But it originally looked very different Originally his first Minecraft skin looked more game-like with the red eye. Moon Minecraft Gaming Videos In gaming videos, Moon is capable of blinking and moving his mouth allowing him to show more expressions. His eyes are also fully red, and he has his wire attached to his back. Moon gaming av Personality In the beginning of the show, Moons voice was quieter, deeper, and raspier. He did not speak often but when he did it was quiet and had no snarky remarks. He even went as far to defend Monty, asking what was wrong with the color green and that it was an insult to Monty. Later on, as the episodes progress, Moon shows high intellectual capabilities. He almost seems adventurous as he explores other dimensions and experiments with scientific equipment. Though he is also closed off and puts on act of indifference towards Sun. That all changed however once Eclipse came along. Moon got snarkier and quickly annoyed though he did become less cold to Sun. He still can be mean and insulting though he seems to try and do this in a playful way. However he has issues with misplaced anger, often taking it out on Sun. His relationship with Sun was not a healthy one despite both parties caring for one another. In recent episodes, Moon reassures his brother as well as tries to find a solution; though he does take things to heart due to his low self-esteem and blames himself for everything. He's also shown to be protective over his family most notably sun even going so far to showing anger when a Alternate Version of Eclipse was being mean to another version of Sun and the Alternate Universe where he did not exist, he willingly helped that version of Sun, worrying when he went to a dimension by himself. Moon has also shown to be a quite sympathetic character, as he understood Lunar's struggles and did not hold anything against him and instead welcomed and accepted them into their family, even sympathizing with BloodMoon and understanding that they could not help the way they were built. He's an extremely hard worker to the point of not sleeping just to try and keep his brother safe. Though he also seems to suffer from social anxiety and has problems talking to people especially about feelings no matter how much he may want to, which leads to him procrastinating and avoiding the issue. He also is very trusting of Sun, believing him despite his gut telling him something was off. Despite seeming egotistical sometimes, he holds levels of respect for certain people and has been polite to many of them. He's extremely hard on himself and seems to not handle people changing well as he was lost on what was happening with Sun and Lunar. He on a number of occasions has been shown to be very loyal to his siblings and friends. He also has a huge amount of regret for many of his past actions, but particularly for a child who was not scared of him. After learning about his home life, he followed him home. Although things did not end well, we are unsure whether Moon killed the child or whether the parents killed the child. He’s also on a number of occasions been shown that he is willing to sacrifice himself for others, he even went so far to be reset himself, as he did not want to kill Kill Code. Kill-Code The Kill Code is a virus that has attached itself to Moon, we don't know of its origins, but we do know the harm it causes. Moon when corrupted under the Kill Code can be described as creepy and aggressive. He's mean and cold to everyone, preferring to insult them, antagonize or make them mad. He has shown a distaste to Sun or anybody that tries to 'order' him around, even saying he didn't need another Sun. The Kill Code has been shown to get worse as Moon can descend into a crazed state that mostly attacks or kills anyone surrounding him. After effects of the Kill Code is blood lust and a overwhelming burning pain at the back of the head. In this state Moon even goes as far to threaten to rip sun arms off and break him. Even threatening to kill Lunar and Monty. The Real Moon While in their first bunker during the argument Sun and Moon had, Sun said he missed the other Moon. He described this Moon as sweet, someone who comforted Sun in his own head and read stories to kids for nap time. Not much else is known about this Moon or what time period Moon acted like this in. New Moon Even though he woke up with amnesia, he still has a hatred for Eclipse and is still protective of Sun. As well as becoming very family orientated, getting angry when anyone threatened to hurt his family, However, he is developing a new personality. A much softer and kinder one. However he is keeping some of his old personality traits such as his intelligence and protectiveness. He is confused about how the old him used to act However it has been shown that he seems to get angry just like the old Moon however he seems to have a way of calming himself down. His new personality also seems to make him more in tune with his own emotions and others, as he is more sociable. New Moon is also more excitable about stuff he likes as well as being more curious to try new things such as a weird Soup found in Kmart. He also, although not having much of a memory of him, and not having as much of a strong bond with Lunar as the old him did, he still cares about him and asks with Sun for Earth to go and talk to them and even saying to Ruin during a Minecraft video that Lunar was still part of their family he’s also been shown to adapt to what’s around him or even his behaviour. For example, after sun came clean to moon about his hallucination moon tried to hug him, but sun jumped back however, after another hallucination attack moon came running, but instead of trying to hug him, he put his hand on his shoulder. A trait he seems to do more often. With the death of eclipse, he now has a hatred to ruin after he kidnapped sun to play a game with moon, wiping his computer, and even purposely remade blood moon, knowing sun was terrified of it, which led to him having a horrible panic attack thankfully moon was able to keep calm under pressure was able to calm Sun down and went so far to shut the daycare down to ensure sun was not out in the open as well having sun stay in their room, but Saying that they were in this together, and he was not going to run off like the old moon and that Sun was smart enough lucky enough to help him Background Origins Most of his and Sun's backstory is shrouded in mystery. Sun said he remembered waking up on an assembly line and all he could remember about their creator was glasses, brown hair and tanned skin. Him and Sun would then go to run Daycare, both AI's sharing a body, though this caused both of them extreme amounts of turmoil and pain. Especially since Moon's security code had gotten corrupted and turned into a Kill Code. Moon would mostly be locked up during his times sharing a body with Sun and thus grew a fear of being trapped, it also seeming to be PTSD even. He would feel physical pain during the switched but due to the Kill Code he claimed to have enjoyed it. Eventually both bots came to a slight agreement, though Sun would still struggle with letting Moon out. July 16th After being stuck together for around 5 years, Moon finally found a solution to their separation. He managed to succeed to a degree and was now getting used to his own body. He also needed to explore the Pizzaplex so a day after they separated Moon went around getting accustomed to his body and the environment, leaving Sun to run Daycare. After a while he would return to see Sun in the middle of Daycare, blood everywhere and dead bodies on the floor. Moon would question Sun about what happened but would only get the response of it being the day they don't talk about. Monty would also reveal the multitude of lawsuits that had accompanied the incident. Start of the Channel Almost a year later after July 16th, Moon would start up the channel as a way to bond with Sun. They would play games and react to a multitude of different animation videos. Though at times Sun would act different, more sinister. Moon came to the conclusion of it being left over code from an imperfect separation. He would later find out how dire the situation really was. Eclipse Reveal During multiple video games, Sun's voice would deepen and his actions in games often got darker too. However, a few moments later he would "snap" out of it and experience memory issues. Eventually during a video of teardown would Moon really figure out what was happening. Eclipse would speak with Moon almost the entire episode, letting Moon come to the conclusion of it being a different AI. In a later episode Moon would finally get answers to who this AI was. He would enter Daycare and immediately realize something was off about his brother. Tired of playing games with the AI, Moon demanded answers. The AI would disclose his name, it being Eclipse, as well as its ability to mimic Sun to an alarming extent. It would also reveal how he came into being, the Homicide Code. Sun would then actually wake up, though Moon would back up by revealing his fear towards the situation at hand. After confirming it was Sun this time, Moon would then repeat all the information he learned from Eclipse to Sun. Moon would also tell Sun he had no ideas to counter him since they came from the same code and shared intellect. Eclipse's 3 Day Reign Moon would get a cold or illness randomly and would have to rest for 3 days. He would later return, still ill, and find out about how Sun lost 3 days. Moon would attempt to give him a present but due to him still being sick it gave the Minecraft world parasites instead that him and Sun would face. Finding Golden Freddy After getting recommended by Glamrock Freddy, Sun and Moon would go to Golden Freddy's mansion for help with the Eclipse situation. They would both show up and enter, getting scared by Golden Freddy in the process. Moon would get turned into a plushie briefly due to not believing in magic. After overcoming the issue, Golden Freddy revealed two options they had at the current time, putting Eclipse back in Moon or wiping Sun's memory entirely. He would also tell them that the longer Eclipse stayed, the harder it would get rid of him due to him being too integrated in Sun's code. While walking to a room, Eclipse would take over discreetly, though he was revealed by Golden Freddy who could physically see him switching. Golden Freddy would proceed to cast a suppression spell on Eclipse, putting him to sleep for a while. Golden Freddy would tell Moon and Sun that he was willing to teach them magic, to which Moon accepted. Truth about Eclipse While in a room in Golden Freddy's mansion, Moon offered to talk with Eclipse to try and get answers. Sun would reluctantly agree to this idea and allowed Moon to enter. Moon would appear in the Mindscape and began to question Eclipse. The latter would reveal that he had tampered with Roxanne's coding. Annoyed Moon would argue with Eclipse as Eclipse tried to state they were similar, which Moon disagreed with. After Moon called him a fraction of Moon's code, Eclipse would change his mind and say he agreed and that he was going to be whoever he wanted to be. With Eclipse refusing to give any more answers, Moon was forced to leave. Not before he threatened Eclipse's life. Returning to the real world, Moon would storm outside with Sun following closely behind. Moon would reply to Sun's questions with him needing a break from him (Eclipse). Moon would then reveal what Eclipse had done to Roxanne, much to Sun's horror. Moon would go on to say that Eclipse seemed to like tormenting Sun more than him, which Sun would then compare to his and Moon's dynamic before separation. Moon would immediately deny that, saying that he was never enjoyed a second of it and was tired of feeling suffocated by Sun locking him away, before talking about the freedom Sun had compared to him. Sun would reply saying he was unsure due to how Moon would talk during their time together in one body, he would then question whether that was Eclipse instead. Moon once again denied Sun's statement, claiming him and Eclipse were the same and that no matter what Moon did, it always ended with Sun being hurt. Sun would proceed to try and comfort Moon, who once again shot him down saying he hadn't changed since he still threatened Eclipse and enjoyed it. Sun would reason that it was because Eclipse was not a nice person. However, this led Moon to the big reveal that he had left the Homicide Code behind on purpose. Betrayed Sun would walk back to The Old Daycare with Moon weakly calling after him. Moon would then turn and head back inside to train. The Aftermath of The Truth In the next episode, Moon would show up at Daycare and try to explain to Sun why he did what he did. He stated that because the code was docile it would just go to sleep, not evolve in Sun. Sun would tell Moon that it sounded like he was trying to hurt him, and he was scared of when Eclipse would try to take over again. Moon would justify his feelings of betrayal and fear before telling Sun that everything he does ends up wrong and that he never considered Sun's feelings. He would reveal that despite all this, his efforts didn't make a difference since he was falling into old habits again. Sun would ask if there was anything that could get rid of the code, which Moon would reply with a dejected no. Moon would then go on to say that Sun probably hated him and that he would hate himself. Sun would deny this, saying he just wished that Moon would have told him about it before and he understood why Moon did it. Moon would call himself a coward cause of what he did, although Sun would interject and claimed that Moon was the bravest person he knew. Moon would counter that saying he was willing to sacrifice Sun's whole personality, still Sun would say it didn't make Moon a coward. Moon would try to insult himself, though he was cut off by Sun saying he understood what was going through Moon's head and that he appreciated it a bit since Moon was trying to change. Moon would attempt to degrade himself, which Sun would stop right away. Moon would tell Sun that he expected disappointment from himself and that he knew he would do the wrong thing, so it wasn't surprising. Sun would tell him that it wasn't a healthy mindset to have at all. He would comfort Moon, telling him that everyone (including himself) had done bad things. Sun then would tell Moon that he still loved and cared about him. He would then try and come up with ideas for Moon's Kill Code problem. Moon would tell him that it was a virus, to which Sun suggested putting some of his code in Moon to try and combat it, Pondering the idea, Moon rejected it since the Kill Code would just evolve around it. The topic then changed to Moon saying he was willing to sacrifice himself to remove Eclipse from Sun. Sun would immediately reject the idea from his brother. Moon would try and tell another quote to Sun about home, which led to Sun asking to go back home. Both of them would then question whether or not Daycare was home, which neither of them particularly liked the idea. Both would then leave to head back to an unseen bunker.
