A pink flower with a light yellow pistil rests at the top of it while a fluorescent flower sits on the inside of the curl. Vine Staff wears traditional makeup, with lipstick and eyeliner. Vine Staff is a Phighter who is concerned with the safety of others. She makes sure that the people around her are cautious of the potential danger they may pose to themself and others. Creating plans in how to go about a fight is something that she prefers to do, and something she establishes with every Phighter. When there is no plan, she is worried. Despite her kind nature, she doesn't shy away from jesting at other Phighters, being especially sarcastic with her brother, Shuriken. Vine Staff is a Phighter coming from the region of Thieves' Den. She is a rarity in which she was born with no parents but has a biological brother in Shuriken. She helps Slingshot in his work at his café, alongside Shuriken. The aforementioned all live together as roommates in Crossroads. Her arm is cursed to be wood, which grows back despite her attempting to amputate it various times. Her cursed arm is treated as normal since she can still feel with it. She can use it to her advantage to grow plant life off of it. According to the phone call with the Broker, Vine Staff's curse is not unique to her and has been seen more than once in Broker's lifetime, being cited as rare by him. In the same phone call, Broker states that he watches Vine Staff be a “miracle worker” in reviving dead and withering plants in Crossroads, Scythe also mentions her curse, but instead refers to it as a blessing. When Vine Staff counters that there’s nothing blessed about it, Scythe says it’s a matter of perspective. RELATIONSHIPS Katana - Neighbour, Along with Shuriken and Slingshot, Vine Staff sees Katana as an older neighbor. The three of them will leave gifts outside his door so Katana knows he's appreciated Shuriken - Brother, Shuriken is Vine Staff's biological brother and someone she is extremely close to. They were both created "unconventionally", and even though he is someone she commonly pokes fun of, she does care for him and will genuinely congratulate him on a job well done. Because her arm is cursed, Shuriken got the same arm tattooed in commemoration of her Slingshot - Roommate/Friend, Slingshot is Vine Staff's roommate and boss of her workplace. He boasts two large purple spikes on his pauldrons closely resembling his horns and two large purple gauntlets, also with spikes on the knuckles as well as two glowing circles-presumably bracings-for the plates on his forearms. Ban Hammer wears greaves and sabatons decorated with purple diamonds and trimmings. His weapon is an oversized hammer inspired by the original Ban Hammer gear. Ban Hammer is, overall, a cocky and self-assured Phighter who will not hesitate to overstate his abilities and put others down. He holds his momma (Wind Force) in high regard and constantly aims to impress her with his performance. He is dedicated to enacting justice on criminals as he sees fit and considers himself a 'raging tyrant' as the warden of Banland. He can be rather emotionally inept, as he is keen to insult other Phighters about anything from their height to their lack of horns. Other Phighters tend to respond to his insults with exasperation and annoyance, which he is seemingly oblivious to. He isn't one to accept defeat easily and makes excuses for his various failings and setbacks at all opportunities. All in all, he is an arrogant and proud individual who thinks highly of himself with little room for error. Ban Hammer is a Phighter who is the warden of Banland and has subordinates working under him. He is the biological son of Windforce and thus is a demi-deity. He possesses immortality and hardiness more than mortal demons but is possible to be killed by mortal hands. He actively hunts down criminals and wanted demons such as Medkit, Scythe, and Broker. He knows the shady activities being done by Subspace but is barred from pursuing legal action due to Subspace's Blackrock higher-ups. Ban Hammer has four eyes just like his mother, Windforce. These are obscured normally, as he wears a blindfold to challenge himself during Phights. While not present usually, Ban Hammer possesses wings that he brings out to fly with. These wings are implied to be similar to Windforce's — halo-like spikes that float laterally to his back. Ban Hammer considers himself so powerful that he wears a blindfold to intentionally nerf himself for fun. He is also naturally gifted at golfing, and he practices his skills on his Banland inmates. Ban Hammer can play the electric guitar, he learnt how to play from Flipside, who are his first cousins once removed. Ban Hammer carries out the death penalty on his inmates, though the conditions for such a punishment is unknown, he has notably beheaded The Broker on at least one occasion, but Broker survived. Given the choice between pancakes and waffles, he prefers waffles. Scythe has a darker skin tone in comparison to the rest of the Phighters, being a darker shade of grey rather than the typical white. Despite Katana's threats of killing her, she replies by quoting, "How violent! It's funny how some things never change." Scythe tries to persuade Katana to rejoin the cult again but Katana refuses with the prospect of "bowing down to that monster". On one occasion, they seem to share silence with each other. This is the only dialogue to be like so Vine Staff - Scythe likes Vine Staff but is disliked in return. She sees her curse as a blessing Rocket - Scythe has threatened Rocket over his insults towards herself and The Broker Subspace - Scythe has threatened to kill Subspace due to him being the one who’s hunting down Medkit COIL APPEARANCE - Coil's design incorporates the vibrant and urban fashion of Playground inphernals combined with bolder elements, featuring contrasting orange and light blue as his signature colors. His horns start on his forehead and curve backward, before curving again in the opposite direction and tapering upward. His horns are two different colors: the left is orange, and the right is light blue and his grey hair is shoulder-length, and messy. His right horn has a bright chunk of crystal embedded in it, forming cracks within the horn. He has a small band-aid across his face, accompanied by an expression that conveys an assertive demeanour. He wears an orange hoodie with light blue drawstrings and a white Cerberus design on the back. The sleeves of his hoodie have been ripped off, leaving messy fabric where they were torn. He has a habit of stalking other inphernals, particularly those who can grant him useful information. He does not appreciate other factions meddling in his business, and has a dislike for bootlickers. While he tends to talk in a friendly manner to most Phighters, it is soon apparent that he has ulterior motives in a majority of interactions, such as when prepositioning Shuriken for a job offer. He has a particular hatred for Katana, dropping his usual 'jolly' façade to threaten Katana through the phone. Despite his typically exaggerated displays of joviality or threats of violence, he is demonstrably frightened by Ban Hammer - notably panicking when Ban Hammer is the one to call him. Despite his overall demeanour, he appears to have genuine fondness for his boss, Scythe, as well as Zuka. RELATIONSHIPS Ban Hammer - Enemy, The Broker despises Ban Hammer. The feeling is mutual. Two large moose-like horns emerge from either side, both with a dark gray-to-purple gradient, although the left one has a spiral pattern around it. They wear a purple cravat with a golden cog-shaped charm, and a pair of thin golden chains spanning across it. Lord Pwnatious wears a dark gray tailcoat suit with a purple undershirt, their suit cuffs mimicking the same square wave pattern found on their teapot, a golden cog charm attached to the notched lapel, and a golden stopwatch tucked into the suit pocket and attached to a chain.
