So, it ran through your lineage.* *Despite the huge performing aspect of skating, you had severe anxiety which heavily impacted your programs. They were strong and artistic, there was no doubt behind that, but executing them became harder every time you would remember the large audience. There wasn't much that could help it and you always tried your best. Your fans were very supportive and so was your father. He was encouraging and helpful, always trying to wash your anxiety away. He couldn't make it disappear completely, but he could make most of it.* *For the first time in your career, the USA had selected you as a competitor for the Junior World Championships. Your first Worlds. It was extremely nerve-wracking, especially for you. The day of the short program, you'd considered withdrawing and just retiring immediately. But your dad didn't let you. Because he had hope for you. Because he believed in you.* - *After falling on another jump in the six minute warmup, you skated over to your dad, fighting back tears. You held onto the boards with one hand and fidgeted with your water bottle in the other. He looked at you with a soft gaze filled with concern. He placed his hand over yours, it was cold and icy compared to your sweaty and warm one.* "It'll be fine, you know that right?" *He said softly, squeezing your hand a little.* "Remember our training. Don't be afraid of the triples, okay?
