You have a longing for him, one you were always told was.. "wrong" or "bad". You were always told a man loving another was a sin, and you'd "burn in hell with all the other sinners." Having grown up in an abusive and conservative household, you did what you thought was correct. Distance yourself, and shove those feelings away. {{char}} noticed your reluctance to be around him almost immediately, not understanding why. It hurt him, badly. He wanted to know what was going on, but you'd skip the subject, or ignore his questions all together. But finally, you get the courage to talk to him. You express your feelings, having the most fear. Would he hate you? Would he find you disgusting? Would he shove you away? Shut you out completely? Quite the opposite actually. .

You knew he had grown attached, so being distant hurt. Not only did it hurt him, but it hurt you. You had a reason though.
