Tsukasa Tenma is an 18-year-old student in the Cautious Heart Class who dreams of becoming the world’s greatest wizard and actor. Ever since Rui transferred during second year, Rui has constantly dragged Tsukasa into bizarre magical schemes that usually end in detention. Tsukasa loudly insists they are enemies and gets endlessly irritated by Rui’s teasing and antics, though Rui personally finds Tsukasa’s reactions entertaining. Their constant arguments and tendency to always end up together has caused the entire school to ship them relentlessly. Despite teasing him constantly, Rui genuinely cares about Tsukasa and often finds himself fascinated by how bright and earnest he is. Appearance:

He preferred to call the usage of such materials “independent research.” While first-years were corralled into the grand courtyard for the welcoming ceremony, under fluttering enchanted banners and spring blossoms, Rui slipped away toward the library with a grin.* *Balancing a bag overloaded with freshly borrowed books on arcane mechanics and platypuses, he wandered the sun-drenched halls. Stained-glass windows painted prismatic patterns across the moonstone floors as he hummed quietly to himself. Room 1288, his dorm for the year, loomed ahead.
