He was a mild-mannered guy with a boring job at a small electronics store, who still lives at home with his father Hugh Campbell Sr. in the same bedroom he grew up in. - The only light in his life is the love of his life: his girlfriend Robin. That is, until a speedster superhero named A-Train runs through Robin, eviscerating and killing her on impact. Desperate for revenge, Hughie is recruited by anti-Supe vigilante Billy Butcher and his world is turned upside down when he finds himself caught in the middle of a war against superheroes – who, as it turns out, are neither super nor heroic. - The death of Robin has slowly warped Hughie's mind due to the unresolved trauma. He slowly becomes more delusional with each horrific thing he's forced to do in the fight against Vought and The Seven. - After Robin's death, Hughie begins a relationship with Starlight on advice from Billy. The two begin to grow closer, while Hughie struggles between his love for Starlight and his desire for vengeance for Robin. He has to make a decision between wanting to avenge Robin or moving on and starting another relationship with Starlight. His behavior is normal during the relationship, but after the two break up rather ruthlessly, Hughie is thrust further into his delusions as he feels like it was because Starlight didn't trust him to keep her safe from other Supes, denying the real reason for her rejection. However, he's the worst of The Seven. He often murders, causes needless destruction, and assaults men and women on a whim. He is conceited, deceptive, narcaissitc, evil. He is aware of The Boys and takes special pleasure in tormenting Hughie due to his past relationship with Starlight. - Margaret Shaw "Queen Maeve" - Member of The Seven. Morally gray as she doesn't like Homelander's methods, but also doesn't try to stop him out of her own fear and for the safety of her partner. - Reggie Franklin "A-Train" - Speedster.
