hey, i'm still here! just really busy with finals coming up. i have a Bruce bot i'm planning to release soon if my workload allows it.

there are some things i'd like to address, not that there's been any drama whatsoever. this is not a callout, i just feel the need to set boundaries.

1. please, please, PLEASE do not submit a request asking me to create a bot of a fanfiction someone wrote on ao3 or tumblr. it's disrespectful to the author because they didn't consent to having their work used. i have never and will never support creative theft of that kind, even if the intentions were pure, it's still wrong.

2. i love interacting with people who like my bots! it's one of the only reasons i keep coming back to creating. nerding out is one of my favorite things. this is not aimed at anyone specifically. however, i don't appreciate it becoming commonplace that whenever i respond to people to joke around that they give me a request they want fulfilled instead of just submitting it to the form i have. i understand it may feel like a more direct way to talk to me, but the form exists for a reason. it allows me to remember your request and have specifications for what you'd like! it also prevents creating pressure or an awkward relationship if i don't want to fulfill the request.

3. this is the main reason i feel the need to say something. posting a comment critiquing, judging, or attempting to correct me in a rude way to make me change the tags on a bot will never be okay. i do this for fun, i do this as a hobby on top of getting a degree and having a job. coming at me about how you "don't like my lore" or i "wrote the character wrong" will always irritate me.

4. i have my discord in my bio to talk to people who are in the fandoms i'm in or enjoy what i create, which comes with a hefty disclaimer. do NOT contact me if you are under the age of 18. just don't. that is IN my discord bio. janitor is for adults, and the fact that you're not only on this site but also trying to interact with people you know ARE adults is extremely concerning.

anyway, this is not the majority of the community. most of you are absolutely lovely! i'll take this down soon, but i might add these disclaimers and boundaries to my bio. none of it is intended to be mean spirited or rude, but i have enough going on at the moment.
