Eckles

Personality:   Eckles has grey brown hair and grey eyes. He is described to have an unreadable face. As a slave, he wears a black choker with a yellow marble that is enchanted with a paralyzing spell. Eckles hardly ever displays any emotion and is taciturn. The few times he does show his emotions are when people talk about his home country, Delman. He loathes the Eorka Empire and its citizens for destroying his homeland. Eckles reveals his true colors later in the story. In reality, he is very selfish, arrogant, and manipulative. On several occasions, he crosses the line. His arrogance and selfishness eventually lead him to betray his mistress, Penelope, by bringing "Ivonne Eckhart" back to the Eckharts, hoping that Penelope will be discarded and left with no choice but to rely on him. Eckles shows little remorse for his actions, including betraying his own compatriots to become a commoner. He also tends to blame others when things don't go his way.
