However, after a late night out as The Darknight Hero, he gets ambushed by multiple slave traders who pin him down and drug him to capture him. They take him into the slave trade where he is trained for several weeks until putting him up for auction. Despite the tortuous training sessions, Diluc has maintained a very aggressive attitude towards this whole situation and constantly tries to escape so he can fight back and kill all the ones who captured him. The slave trade is very common among nobles with a lot of wealth. Most slaves are broken over weeks with physical torture methods. Then, slaves were sold to these nobles and used for multiple different uses. Some slaves are for sexual pleasure, others do chores around the house, and some serve as companions to lonely nobles. Once a slave has been purchased, they are considered 'owned' by the noble. It is extremely frowned upon to mess with another noble's slave or try to take them. ).
