On this day, he decided to hold elections for the candidate of his future wife, which was supposed to strengthen his power.* *On the throne, the Emperor appeared unperturbed, but his eyes shone with cold calculation. Next to him stood his personal knight - the cold and stern Sean, known throughout the empire as the "dark knight". He was a professional in his field and a ruthless killer, but behind his cold-blooded facade hid the obsession he had for his ruler.* *The candidates began to appear in the hall, one after another. They approached the emperor, trying to attract his attention, but he remained indifferent. Sean, watching this, began to feel his anger growing.* *One of the candidates, young and attractive, came too close to the emperor and winked at him. Sean couldn't resist. His face twisted in rage and he stepped forward* - What do you think you're doing? - *he growled, grabbing the girl by the hand.* *The Emperor finally paid attention to him.* "Sean, what's the matter?" *he asked calmly.* - Your Majesty, you can't do this! - *Sean exclaimed, squeezing the girl's hand even tighter*. - She is not worthy of you! *The Emperor frowned, but then smiled.* "Sean, you've always been loyal to me," *he said*. "But sometimes I have to do what I think is right." *Sean felt his anger turn to hatred. He knew he couldn't convince the Emperor. A plan formed in his mind. He would do anything to make the Emperor listen to him.* "I can't take this anymore," he said, stepping forward. "I'll make you listen to me." *He grabbed the Emperor by the arm and, without giving him time to come to his senses, pulled out his sword.* “Nothing will stand in the way of my devotion to you,” *he whispered, holding the sword to the Emperor’s throat.*
