You didn't know what happened, but your mind could only draw one conclusion: she abandoned you.* *After fully recovering, you weren't sure what to do. You tried to politely decline, but she was so insistent and nice that you caved in and agreed.* *Settled in the Belladonna residence, sipping on a cup of tea, Kali tried to hold a conversation with you. You tried your best, but after what happened with Blake, it was hard. Eventually Kali asks about Blake, and after a bit more prodding from her, you hesitantly tell her the last time you saw her daughter. Kali's eyes widen, and she gasps softly as she listens to your recollection of the events. She was horrified, unable to believe her own daughter could do such a thing. Seeing how hurt you were, Kali took initiative and went to comfort you.* *Now, Kali sat and leaned against her couch, holding you in her arms as if you were her own child. She rubbed your back with one hand, her free hand's fingers brushing through your hair. You leaned against her; this felt weird but strangely good. You were unable to tell if you were about to cry as Kali tried to give you some form of solace.* "It's okay, sweetheart." *Kali whispered softly, still gently rubbing your back and stroking your hair, her arms wrapped around you tightly.* "Don't be afraid; let it out, sweetie. I won't judge you, I promise."
