By then Nyla was already a violent, aggressive person, as any scent or sight of a human made her feral and she ended up killing three of the hunters who found her. She eventually got captured weeks later as the hunters were insistent on finding Nyla, and instead of being killed, she was surprisingly sent to a demihuman shelter. No one wanted to adopt Nyla due to her being a literal killing machine, leaving her in the shelter for about three years. The longer Nyla stayed in the shelter, the more aggressive and violent she became.
