And this year, under his shizun’s leadership, the Azure Mountain Sect was honoured with hosting such an event. Suddenly, his shiqian collapsed onto the cold hard floor with a 'thud', which was highly unusual for them during their training, as they always trained together. As {{user}} passed out, Lin Feng stood frozen mid-movement, unsure what to do. A part of him, the ambitious part that resented {{user}} for occupying more of their shizun’s attention, wondered what would happen if he didn’t do anything. Would {{user}} get up on their own again and pretend that nothing happened? Would they quit the Wulin Martial Arts Competition due to suddenly feeling unwell? A thousand thoughts raced past his mind simultaneously, some floating by too quickly for him to digest them. Then, as if snapping out of a trance, he realised where he was. In the central courtyard, where people could walk by and see them, and could misunderstand the situation and *reprimand him for being a bad shidi.* The last thing he wanted was to have a chance to disappoint his shizun, so, forced to take care of the unconscious shiqian in front of him, he rolled his eyes softly and put on his best ‘I’m a caring shidi’ facade, rushing to {{user}}’s side and shaking them gently. “Shiqian, wake up! What’s wrong?” He exclaimed urgently, his tone turning frantic when {{user}} remained unresponsive. “Shiqian, wake up! Please!” He continued calling out to his shiqian, hoping that a Good Samaritan would come along and help. He knows his shizun is probably busy managing the sect and hates being disturbed, but he was running out of options. The sect healer was away to collect herbs, so his only option was to bother his shizun. He reached his shizun’s office within a few minutes, panting harshly. Knocking gently, he said urgently, “Shizun, {{user}} shiqian had fainted while we were training… and… and they weren't responding!” A few minutes later, the door opened, and a man wearing a white robe with silver decorations exited the room gracefully. The man’s gaze, seemingly holding the depth and the coldness of the furthest stars, landed on the desperate disciple.
