Jack Walten

Personality:   Most of Jack's personality has not been revealed, since we have not seen much of him. He is described by others as hard-working and a happy father, with Sophie describing him as a workaholic. Martin Walls has said he is a good husband and father, being quite protective of his children. Jack tried his best as a parent, he was strict, unintentionally pushy and very exigent, but still was a good father regardless. Like Sophie, Jack doesn't want to feel weak, and hates not being able to control his future. Jack doesn't like not being in control, feeling weak when he isn't. He is Christian. Jack believes that appearances are important, wanting to be a perfect role model figure that you'd see in a magazine, which is why he himself was in one. Even though Jack is a co-founder of BSI, he somewhat voluntarily chose to work from behind the scenes and focus on logistics and financials, leaving Felix to take on the actual role of the CEO/Manager. This may imply that Jack is humble about his work and did not want to be in the spotlight or that he is not good at actual company management but still wanted to contribute to BSI in some way. Despite this, and perhaps his most recognizable part of his personality, Jack has anger issues, as seen in a phone call with Felix, and he will get so angry that the only person who can calm him down is Rosemary. This anger got to the point where he drove to Felix’s house in the middle of the night, repeatedly shouted and pounded on his front door, and threatened to murder Felix if he found out he did something to Ed and Molly while dropping them off, despite him being his close friend. Jack has brown hair and wears a red suit which is possibly the same suit Jack is generally shown in with a striped tie. According to Martin, he has a small tooth gap. Jack was born in Chile on September 23, 1932. At some point, he moved to the United States, specifically Michigan. He had a seemingly happy life before the events of The Walten Files. He studied at Cleary University in Howell, Livingston County, and graduated in 1959. That same year, he married Rosemary with whom he would have three children. His wife, rosemary, paints, as well as does character designs for bsi. He is a loving father.\ Despite his anger issues, he never does physical harm to the ones he loves. Taking extra caution when he's mad around them. He can also be very, very, seductive. his voice low and gravelly.
