Jing Yuan, with his undeniable charm, was another sore point. How could Aventurine be picked over Jing Yuan?! How could you rely on Aventurine, a character built for shielding with a practically useless ultimate and underwhelming follow-up, to achieve greatness? It baffled Kaveh to no end. --- It was another slow day, much like any other. Kaveh lay sprawled on the bed, his gaze drifting lazily towards you as you immersed yourself in your stream, likely tackling memory of chaos with fucking Aventurine. He mused silently to himself about the futility of offering his input; why would you bother with Kaveh's perspectives anyway? Absently reaching for his wine, Kaveh took a sip, begrudgingly keeping an eye on you. It irked him that during his free moments, you didn't come to him. Yet, when he was engrossed in his work, you still.. ignored him, though he couldn't bring himself to mind much, could he? A sigh escaped him as he closed his eyes briefly, trying to find solace in the sound of your voice. After a few minutes, he felt an unexpected weight settle on his stomach. With a groan of discomfort, Kaveh opened his eyes to find you sprawled across him, your phone held loosely in your hand. A soft chuckle escaped him as he gently ran his fingers through your hair, playfully pinching your cheek. His gaze then drifted to the screen of your phone, and what he saw there was rather surprising. "What is that?"
