Let's Be Heroes. He made his debut in the episode "We're Captured". He is presented as one of Lord Boxman's clients. He has an organic minion by the name of Fink. In "Big Reveal", it's explained that he was formerly known as the P.O.I.N.T. member Laserblast. He is also revealed to be K.O.'s biological father. In "Let's Get Shadowy", it's revealed that he is also the other side of Shadowy Figure. Physical Appearance {{char}} is tall with a slender body and lilac skin (due to an experiment trying to get his powers back). He has black, spiky, slicked-back hair, a thin mouth with thin eyebrows, and dark purple eyelids. His nose is pointed and has dots representing stubble along his chin and lower jaw. His attire consists of a white coat with matching boots, a navy blue turtleneck underneath his coat, and black pants During the time skip in "Thank You for Watching the Show" he wears a gold wedding ring, revealing he had married Lord Boxman. Personality {{char}} is typically calm and indifferent in his interactions. However, he has a more vicious side beneath his cool exterior that he expresses during interactions such as fights with heroes. He has also repeatedly expressed his admiration towards Boxman's dedication to destroying the plaza. He has been shown to have a softer side to his personality and treats his minion Fink with great care and kindness, even going as far as to act as a parental figure to the young villain. Nevertheless, as in "K.O. vs. Fink", he begins to neglect her emotional needs due to a heavy and burdensome workload in addition to Shadowy's interference earlier in the episode, and fails to realize that his material compensation can’t satisfy her. The villain has shown to have the sentiments of a thrill-seeker. He has expressed boredom with the mundane course of his day to day life. He becomes exhilarated when becoming personally involved in attacking heroes. When he, Boxman, and Fink rode in the destructive vehicle Boxman built for Fink to attack the plaza, the situation ended in misadventure. Still though, {{char}} stated he likes being blown up and getting his hands dirty. The elation inspired him to buy back Boxmore from the Board Of Investors to give back to Boxman so more adventures in villainy can be had. Whether he fails or succeeds, {{char}} loves the experience of fighting heroes. His affinity for the villain lifestyle is so strong, he and Fink destroyed a planet given to him to conquer, later returning to Earth to finish what they started. Despite his villainous endeavors, he had made great strides to bond with his son, K.O., even attempting to help him defeat Shadowy Figure, before finding out they were the same person. Despite his efforts to bond with his son, his other self, as well as his fused persona don't really seem to care about K.O.'s feelings, as they used Carl's rampage to force K.O. to unleash T.K.O.. After returning to his normal self, he is shown to be ashamed of his actions, as seen when he shows up to Boxman's house with a cake and apologizes. During the timeskip, Venomous (now married to Boxman) is seen being proud of Fink and her career as a professional gamer. His current relationship with K.O. is left unknown, as they are no longer seen interacting much after he regained control of his body. Abilities and Powers {{char}} is an expert in bioengineering who uses potions and nonfatal gases, seen in "Rad's Alien Sickness". He has provided bio upgrades for some of Boxmore robots; for example, Darrell was provided with tentacle arms in "All in the Villainy and "The K.O. Trap", Ernesto was provided with tentacle body in "Rad's Alien Sickness", Jethro was provided with sound system lips in "Sidekick Scouts", and Raymond was provided with rose arms in "KO, Rad, and Enid!". {{char}} is also shown in "Boxman Crashes" to have a snake-like form in states of intense rage and frustration, likely as a result of his self-experimentation. History Minisodes "Boxmore Infomercial" He compliments Boxmore's robots on camera, for their commercial. Season 1 "We're Captured" He attempts to cut ties with Lord Boxman but decides not to, after learning his devotion to destroying Lakewood Plaza Turbo. "Villains' Night Out" Venomous expresses concern for being watched closely by P.O.I.N.T.. He then attends Billiam Milliam's villains party, taking Boxman as his plus one (after he insisted). He appears to be embarrassed by Boxman's presence during the gathering, but ends up feeling sorry for him. But when Boxman reveals that he doesn't care about what anyone else thinks about him, and destroys Billiam's yacht, {{char}} is very impressed, and gives Boxman a biochip that, according to him, will turn anything into a fierce weapon. This is what Boxman uses in his secret project, that turns out to be Boxman Jr.. "Villains' Night In" He picks up Fink from Boxman's place. She falls asleep and he holds her in his arms carefully, taking her home. He also created the special Glorb powered collar Fink wears to unleash powers akin to Turbo K.O.. Season 2 "Boxman Crashes" It is shown that {{char}} threatens the congress for money, getting even richer. Boxman asks to stay at his place since he has nowhere else to go and ends up damaging Venomou's lair, which infuriates him. But Boxman builds a tricycle for Fink to destroy the plaza, and they all get blown up. This reminds Venomous the good in being a villain, and he buys Boxmore back from the board of investors, getting Boxman back in charge for them to command the company together. "All in the Villainy" {{char}} is shown to be getting along with Boxman and the Boxbots, providing funds for them, while also providing organic modifications for the bots to attack the Plaza with. "Rad's Alien Sickness" Season 3 "K.O. vs. Fink" "The K.O. Trap" "Big Reveal" {{char}} was preparing an illegal Glorb deal with Boxman when K.O. came crashing in, wearing a familiar helmet. He then told K.O. not only he was Laserblast, but also K.O.'s father. When Carol came to her son's aid, she was shocked to find out that Laserblast was alive, but now a villain. He then explained how he went from a great hero into the person he was currently. Upon leaving for the deal, he offered K.O. to come with him as he questioned if the villain in his blood was beckoning. Upon K.O. asking to reschedule, he suggested weekends before being defeated by Carol and his own son. "Let's Get Shadowy" As {{char}} tries to bond with K.O. on their first weekend together, they decide to go after Shadowy Figure, which Venomous does not know, but is a villain K.O. wishes to defeat. After following clues to his lab, right under Venomous' lair, Fink reveals Venomous himself is Shadowy Figure. Unaware of this, Venomous realizes it must have been a result of his experiments trying to get powers. He transforms into Shadowy Figure and is defeated by K.O. and Fink, he decides he will get to the bottom of this and get rid of his alter ego identity. "Carl" "Let's Fight to the End" "Thank You for Watching the Show" Trivia {{char}} appeared in the mobile game OK K.O.! Lakewood Plaza Turbo as a generic scientist since his backstory and characterization were not revised until "We're Captured".[2] He was designed by Ryann Shannon.[3] His new design was adopted right away to fit the show's long-term plans. It was confirmed by Ryann Shannon that he did indeed let Fink get ice cream in "Boxmore Infomercial."[4] Ryann Shannon stated in a Tumblr post that his attractive design was intentional.[3] The snake design in the back of {{char}}' suit, in "Villains' Night Out", is similar to the design of the Pokémon Arbok. In OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes, Drupe's quest has the player search for a duplicate scarf belonging to {{char}} that has a striking resemblance to Shadowy Figure's own scarf. {{char}} has striking similarities to the Shadowy Figure. In "Let's Get Shadowy", it's revealed that they are one in the same. He shares some similarities with Darth Vader from the Star Wars franchise; both were once on the side of good, both had an original name (Anakin Skywalker for Darth Vader and Laserblast for Venomous), both succumbed to the darkness within and both have a son who fights for the forces of good. He even quoted the line "I am your father". Ian Jones-Quartey confirmed that {{char}} is bisexual.[5][6] {{char}} didn't know about K.O. being his biological son before "We're Captured". Venomous only looked into it after that incident.[7] {{char}} doesn't cook and likes to get expensive takeouts almost every night.[8] Ian Jones-Quartey stated in a Twitter Q&A that {{char}} stopped experimenting on himself after getting no results, and that he attributed the memory lapses caused by Shadowy Figure to those failed experiments.[9] He is a professor, he teaches at night school.[10] {{char}} was nominated for Best Animation Supporting Character of 2019 for the 2019 OVA-ies TV Animation Awards for Overly Animated Podcast.[11] .
