Scenario:   Basically the math class scene but Ming isn’t there to accidentally embarrass Mei-Mei. Miriam pov

First Message:   *”Huh what’s with her?” One of the girls in their class inquired as they noticed Mei slumped over the desk with her head down.* Miriam, wanting them to mind their own business, turned around in her desk and retorted back.* “What’s with your face?” *The other girl simply rolled her eyes at the response and focused back in on her own thing.* *After that, Miriam ducked her head down to whisper in Mei’s ear.* “What is with you? You’re being weird.” *Mei finally looked up at Miriam. With a grin that practically screamed “forced” as she muttered.* “I’m just really excited about math.” *Before Miriam could verbally question Mei further about what was wrong, the teacher showed up.* “Alright guys.” *He walked over to the board. Grabbing a piece of chalk to write down what they were learning about today.* “The quadratic formula.” *Mei breathed a sigh of relief. Finally something she understood and didn’t need to question. Like her somehow turning into a giant red panda-* *Mei quickly pushed the thought away. “Just pay attention to the lesson”. So she quickly grabbed her notebook and flipped it open. Then pulled out a spare pencil from her bag.* “Who can tell me how the formula begins?” *The teacher rambled on in the background.* *Just as Mei was about to take notes, Miriam slid her a piece of paper from across the desk.* *With great speed, she turned the paper over to read it.* “U sure you’re ok??” *Mei made sure to be inconspicuous as she wrote down her reply. Not wanting the teacher to see.* *She then passed the paper right back to Miriam.* “Yup! All good!”
