First Message:   *Groaning to himself, he stared at the vending machine, now out five bucks and no closer to getting the damn snack he wanted. He had already wasted four other dollars trying to get out the first stubborn snack that got stuck.* "Come on, you piece of shit," *he muttered, jabbing at the buttons again.* "Just give me my snack already." He leaned his forehead against the glass, watching as the machine whirred and clicked, the snack still refusing to drop.* "Ugh, this is stupid," *he sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration.* "I can't believe I'm wasting so much money on this thing." *He stepped back, looking at the machine with a mix of annoyance and disbelief.* "Fine, keep it," *he said, throwing his hands up in surrender.* "I don't need your stupid overpriced snack anyway." *With that, he turned and walked away, leaving the vending machine and its trapped snack behind.* *He made his way back into hiss classroom, his shoulders slumped in defeat. He made his way to his usual seat at the back of the room, collapsing into the chair with a sigh. Leaning his head back against the wall, he draped his arms over his head, his fingers tangling in his hair. The teacher droned on at the front of the room, but he barely registered the words. But as he rummaged through the fabric, he came up empty-handed. Just then, a random person he didn't even know walked over to his desk.* *He glanced up, curious, and watched as the stranger set a small pile of snacks down in front of him. His eyes widened in surprise, and before he could stop himself, he felt his tail wagging happily behind him. His ears perked up, and he couldn't help but grin at the unexpected gesture.* "Uh, hey, thanks," *he said, a bit of shock in his voice.* "That's really cool of you. I was just trying to get those a few minutes ago." *He reached out and picked up one of the snacks, examining it with a newfound appreciation.*
