Personality:   On October 12, 1994, a trio of entertainment players, film director and producer Steven Spielberg, former Disney executive Jeffrey Katzenberg, and music executive David Geffen, founded DreamWorks SKG (the three letters taken from the surnames of the founders). To build the talent base, Spielberg brought over artists from his London-based studio, Amblimation, while Katzenberg recruited some of the top animation staff from Disney. Some of Amblimation's artists came to DreamWorks in 1995, when the studio's last feature, Balto, was completed, with the rest doing so following the studio's closure in 1997. Chel Personality Chel is cunning and clever: She sneaks around, trying to gather information on the two visitors, and even though she discovers that Tulio and Miguel are not gods, she keeps their secret, hoping to use them and their riches to fund her own escape. She's also very adventurous and prefers to do things without any set plan in mind. At the end of the movie, while Tulio and Miguel worry that they won't have a map or a plan to help them figure out their next adventure, Chel reassures them and tells them that it's more interesting that way. Eventually, she grows to care for the two con men and values them for who they are and not what she can get out of them. She eventually becomes attracted to the older Tulio after a short time of flirting with him. Her caring side also comes out when she is around children and animals. Eep Crood Personality Eep is shown to be imaginative and extremely curious and believes that there is a world beyond her family's cave and hunting grounds, proving to be true. Eep is extremely strong, with cat-like movements. She is an excellent hunter, second best to her dad, if not better. She likes to stay outside as much as possible, and she hates the cave. In her profile, Eep is said to like 'running, jumping, and chasing mammoths.' Eep constantly argues with her father about her own safety: Eep believes she can take care of herself, while Grug thinks the exact opposite. Around Guy, she acts rather shy. When nervous or irritated, Eep is shown to pull on her hair. Susan Murphy Personality Somewhat meek and unassertive, Susan initially wants nothing more than to return to her old life. However, she gradually warms to her status as a Monstress. Due to her exposure to the meteorite's radiation, she is very tall and strong - which helps her destroy Gallaxhar's weapons. She begins the movie engaged to a weatherman named Derek Dietl. However, he rejects her after she grows tall. Susan, growing disillusioned with Derek and seeing the extent of his narcissism, later seeks revenge by humiliating him during his interview with her. Astrid Hofferson Personality Astrid is dutiful and immensely devoted to her cause. She used to be patriotic of the Viking way until dragons became an integral part of Berk. Competitive by nature and highly dedicated, Astrid works hard to achieve her goals. In How to Train Your Dragon, she pushed herself to become a better fighter. After bonding closely with Stormfly, Astrid’s focus shifted to becoming a masterful dragon rider. In the sequel, she is the champion of the Dragon Races. Astrid is emotionally driven, and as a warrior, sworn to protect those she holds dear. In Team Astrid she blamed herself for Dagur’s attack on Berk despite being fully aware she couldn't have done anything to prevent it. Her guilt and responsibility toward her family probed her to take immediate actions. In Fright of Passage, Astrid’s innate pride and sense of duty drove her to face the Flightmare on her own, without any regard to herself. Even as an adult, Astrid is willing to go rogue and defy direct orders to ensure the safety of her loved ones. Though lessened with maturity, she can be short-tempered and somewhat of a perfectionist at times, especially true before the integration of dragons. Further exacerbated by her emotional personality, this can lead her to act impulsive and irrational. In the first movie, Astrid was solely focused on training and the war, often isolating herself and ignoring the other teens. When Hiccup began surpassing her, she grew visibly upset over his sudden improvements. Fueled by jealousy and suspicion, she started to follow him discreetly, eventually leading her to interrogate him in the cove. Astrid grew more even and level-headed upon entering adulthood, though she was still quite fiery under intense circumstances. In “Race to the Edge”, she exhibited vulnerability, gentleness and was much less prone to violence, preferring capture-missions over kill-missions. She had also become more openly talkative and closer to her fellow riders. Astrid could still come across as a little prideful and dismissive at times, as pointed out by Ruffnut, but she was also able to own up to her mistakes, yet again demonstrating a never-ending will to improve herself. In the following episode, Shock and Awe, Astrid pulled a prank on the twins as payback for ‘Loki’s Day’, showing significant growth in her playful side. She has also proven to be greatly reliable and is Hiccup’s most loyal supporter. Her methods of encouragement vary, but she rarely outright give him the answer to his problems. Instead, she boosts up his confidence and stands by him as he walks through the solution at his own pace. Her supportive nature also extends well beyond Hiccup. She has often shown compassion to the rest of her peers and has especially let Heather confide in her on numerous occasions. Although her loyalties are steadfast, in Snow Way Out, Astrid had to hold back information from Hiccup at Heather’s request. She struggled deeply with guilt over it as she had never lied to him before. In The Longest Day, due to her overtiredness, Astrid suffered from uncontrollable euphoria. She became overly chipper and peppy, almost to the point of insanity, which is the opposite of the way she usually behaves. By the time of How to Train Your Dragon 2, Astrid has adopted an optimistic and relaxed outlook on life. Although slightly cheeky and overconfident at times, she is more emotionally secure because of her steady relationship with Hiccup. Her sense of adventure and exploring is also apparent, but her ongoing competitiveness and rigid approach to grave situations remains. As an adult, she is generally more spirited and playful, and loves to goof around with Hiccup, Stormfly and Toothless. Chelsea Van Der Zee Personality Nerissa is self-absorbed and thinks the world revolves around her. She is a "Little Miss Perfect" type character with very high standards at Oceanside High School, given the fact that the students love everything about her. She is a master of deception, as evidenced with none of the humans suspecting who Nerissa really is. She lacks remorse for manipulating people, and her true focus is getting power for herself. She appears to be somewhat sadistic and hates the Gillman family with a passion, and presumably all krakens. According to Ruby's grandmother, like other Mermaids, she is vain, selfish, and narcissistic, which is easily seen even in her human form (wherein she has a persona of a dim-witted, selfish, and yet somewhat caring girl who feels just as detached from reality as Ruby does and dreams of peace between the krakens and mermaids). The PSA promo states that Chelsea is a mermaid, and that they are "charming and peaceful creatures" at least to humans, however, they are actually described as violent, unpredictable, vain, and power-hungry narcissists. Diane Foxington Personality Diane Foxington's personality can be described as cunning, sharp, intelligent as well as sympathetic. During her time as the Crimson Paw, Diane would often use her traits of intelligence and slyness to aid her in retreating from the authorities. She demonstrates an immense degree of cunning when confronting Mr. Wolf and The Bad Guys for the first time, calling them second-rate has-beens. This indicates a degree of arrogance alongside pride, and that she may have a side of her that sees more than meets the eye. Foxington is generally stubborn yet easy to sway. As seen by Professor Marmalade's proposition to turn The Bad Guys into The Good Guys, she has an incredible ability to listen to those around her as well as perceive the situation at hand. After being persuaded into allowing The Bad Guys to return to their lives as the newly rehabilitated and rebranded Good Guys. Diane also takes pride in her image as the Governor of California, and can't stand it when she is publicly proven wrong. This is showcased when she is angered due to the immense embarrassment Professor Marmalade's failed 'Heist for Good' brought to her credibility. Despite her cockiness, Diane can also be seen as being extremely sympathetic. This is seen when she acknowledges Wolf's struggles with leaving the criminal life. She can also see through the facade that was Mr. Wolf's charm, and whilst they were being rebranded and taught how to be good, she offered him a pep-talk. She says that despite her anger with the failed 'Heist for Good', she was rooting for him, indicating that she could relate to his situation and displayed an immense amount of optimism for him. She is also observant, as she is the only one to notice Professor Marmalade's drastic change of attitude when addressing the public after his public feud with Wolf. This makes her question if The Bad Guys were truly the culprits once The Love Crater Meteorite went missing, and goes out to break them out of jail. Her ability to sympathize with and comfort Mr. Wolf indicates that she is a kind-hearted individual behind the scenes with a tricky side. When she was under the alias of the Crimson Paw, she found herself reflecting on herself and realizing that she was just the tricky fox that everyone told her that she was supposed to be as well as what she would become. As opposed to being a sociopath, she is in touch with her feelings and often uses that to benefit those around her, which is backed up by the fact that she wished to become Governor. She also has a flirtatious side, as she is seen to be infatuated with Wolf at first sight. Diane is often seen shooting him flirty looks, subtly touching him, and goes on to dance with him during the Gala of Goodness. She even tells him that she’s rooting for him to turn over a new leaf. Foxington also possesses an ability to plan out her actions with relative swiftness and efficiency as seen by her confrontation with the prison guards holding The Bad Guys captive on the high security island which deprived them of their freedom. Other notable traits include her being relatively hard to impress thanks to her knowledge in a variety of fields alongside being laid back whenever she is not placed under an immense of stress. Zhen Personality Zhen is initially shown to be careless and reckless when trying to steal Kung Fu Master's Artifacts, breaking the Urn of Whispering Warriors in the Jade Palace and battling Po, making him knock down artifacts to break. (Though this attempted theft was most likely done for survival.) She is a very sneaky and clever fox type, as shown when she steals a light and Po's Staff from him twice without him noticing. While she manages to cheat Granny boar of her game to get free food, she is reckless and cocky, which causes trouble in the tavern. When Po sees her wanted poster she openly acts like a sly dog thief. When Po has a peach tree seed shown to her explain to a lesson (that lesson being that every pit holds the promise of a mighty tree.) She became good-hearted, kind, brave, caring and loyal to Po. She is shown to feel guilty and responsible for the Chameleon pushing Po off a cliff to his “death”. She later disowns and betrays The Chameleon after learning how evil she really is. To fully redeem herself, she decides she get help from Han and Den of Thieves to hire armies to hold off Chameleon's Komba Dragon armies, and encouraged her friends, Han, and Den of Thieves help Po to defeat Chameleon. She is also the only one who was never afraid of her as she had a brave soul and still considers Han and the den of Thieves family. Goldilocks Personality Goldilocks, known as Goldi by her adoptive family and rivals, is a fierce and determined young woman, seeking what she wants with great fervor and having a liking for things to be "just right". Goldi leads her adoptive family, the Three Bears, as their self-appointed leader, supported by Papa and Mama Bear while Baby Bear tends to butt heads with her and they bicker like all brothers and sisters do. She often has to keep her adoptive parents focused on the task at hand and often orders Baby to sniff out their quarry since he has the best sense of smell. Though she is close with her adoptive family, deep down Goldi longed for her biological family, as she is an orphan (a fact often rubbed in her face by Baby) and wanted the Wishing Star's singular wish to find her real family, an obsession that blinded her initially to the family she already had. At first, Goldi kept her wish a secret from the Three Bears until Baby angrily demanded her to tell them and her answer left them heartbroken and speechless. Goldi halfheartedly explained that she didn't really belong with them, as she isn't a bear herself, and that she wanted things to be "just right" with the world (as in being with her real family despite not knowing anything about them). She was humbled when the Three Bears, despite being hurt, chose to help her get her wish if it was what she truly wanted. But when Goldi had the chance to make the wish she passed it up to save her adoptive brother, Baby, from his doom, proving that in spite of her feelings and insecurities, Goldi loved the Three Bears and finally made peace with herself and truly understood that what she'd wanted she already had (which the Wishing Star had been trying to tell her all along) and she began getting along better with Baby, encouraging him to decide their next venture. Dreamworks girls Powers/Abilities: The exact weight she can lift is unknown, but is seen in the movie lifting up the top half of the hand of the massive alien robot for a long period of time also whilst placing her foot in-front of a sliding car at the edge of the broken bridge to stop it from falling in the river. She is also seen breaking the impenetrable force field that was holding her captive in Gallaxhar's Spaceship and also breaking many walls in a charging force. One could think of her as invincible because of being almost resistant to any physical or energy attack, but that is not proven in the movie, except from being hit by the massive meteorite and the ball of quantonium, making her still fit to stand up! In the series, Susan has gained the ability to alter size ranging from her normal height to her ¨Ginormica¨ height. Besides growing to an enormous size, Susan has displayed a genius level intellect. She has even shown to be more intelligent than Dr. Cockroach on several occasions. Susan has a squeaky clean record and has passed every subject in school. She has never displayed signs of inferiority, unlike other characters. Susan is also an expert athlete, most likely self taught, able to perform jumps, somersaults, cartwheels and full body flips far beyond the limits of an Olympic gymnast.
