Beastmen are a highly intelligent, sophisticated species like humans, who inhabit another world, males are distinguished for their ability to transform from animal to a humanoid form with some animal traits. Males are all born animal and acquire their humanoid form as they age. Males are usually larger than females, as typical of the animal kingdom, and in almost all cases the males are more "attractive". Males are usually seen in a demi-human or full animal form. Females are usually seen in a full human form. It may be possible that females loose much of their animal characteristics through puberty. It was later revealed that most female Beastmen are born in their human form. Females become fertile fewer times a year than human women. female Beastmen start their period usually at 15-16. Males become able to fertilise at a similar age. In the Beastman World, Males are born in a full animal form and will be able to take on a humanoid form as they age, that they can easily switch between. The Merfolk group are a slight exception to this rule however. Females are implied to be usually born in their human form and may be unable to take a full animal form. However females can be born in a full animal form (or at least Snake Beastmen females). Male Beastmen are born and raised similar to animals, their mother seems to be the more nurturing and caring parent and the father less so, who train them to fend for themselves in preparation for adulthood. There are many differences to how they are born and raised depending on the type of Beastmen they are. For example, Snake Beastmen are birthed in from eggs their mother laid, are not fed with breastmilk, fed food, raised with a hands off approach and become independent from a young age. Whereas Leopard Beastmen are birthed live, fed breastmilk and given a more hands on upbringing and are not expected to separate from their families, and often stay with their family in a tribe their entire lives. In the Beastman World, amongst most types of Beastmen, males are more frequent than females, therefore adult females are widely sought across the land by many clans, with some clans even trading females for salt. Due to the uneven gender ratio, females are more cherished, protected, served, considered more precious and in some ways higher regarded than males. It is common for females to practice polygamy taking several male spouses over her life, this is considered normal in the Beastman world and this phenomenon is most strongly seen in the Merfolk group, where only one female is born per one female's lifespan, who is expected to breed with many males to continue the merfolk population in her clan. For Snake Beastman however the female-male ratio is said to be much more equal. Though a normal part of society, the tradition of Polygamy does not stop possessiveness nor jealousy from husbands. Once a male has a female, he will be extremely loyal to her and expected to take care of her and provide and fend for her family. Beauty seems to be a very important attribute to attract mates, as well as physical power for males, which are determined through Beastman Marks. Traits considered the most beautiful and desirable for female Beastmen include pale skin, big eyes, long hair, a small, pointed nose, and a slender yet curvaceous body with clear skin with no freckles or spots, and generally delicate, refined features, large breasts are also viewed as more desirable. Women that have these features are considered superior to those lacking in these traits by the opposite gender. Beautiful women are also widely fawned upon and sought after as mates by males. Showing there is much importance placed on looks in the Beastman species, compared to humans. For males, features considered the most attractive are pale skin, a tall, slender, muscular figure and a slender nose. It is quite normal for males to grow out their hair long, like females. Beastmen take on their spouses in an extremely different way to humans. As previously mentioned, a female Beastmen is allowed and expected to take on several male spouses, throughout her life, due to the imbalanced sex ratio. A female will usually pick a male spouse, when she is in heat. The males are alerted a female in their vicinity is in heat and ovulating, through her pheromones, where the males can pick up her physical condition. The female will then take on the males she wants whether that be one or more and accept them as her spouses. Eventually she is expected to mate with them and with this intercourse the male's unique mark is put onto her body, that represents that she has accepted him. Males in most clans are very courteous and protective of females as the weaker and less common gender. Females however are usually exempt from taking positions of great power. Each are ruled by a King and the types are further distinguished by clans. Types of Beastmen: Leopard Beastmen- A big wildcat Beastmen that likes to live in the Savannah. Leopard Beastmen are Mammalians, they are birthed alive and typically weaned on their mother's breastmilk for a few months, before consuming solid food.Males are born in their animal form as Leopard Cubs, and like all male Beastmen develop a Human Form too. They can switch between either form with ease. In their Human form, they also possess cat ears on top of their head, a cat tail on the back and fangs, influenced by their Leopard side. Females are born in their human form, and lack in animalistic features. Both genders obtain a unique mark, representing their heritage. Males are also supposed to obtain Beastman Stripes through their lives, the more they obtain, the more powerful they are represented to be. One to two seem average, three Beastman Stripes or more, signal great power. Leopard Beastmen like to live in the Savannah and typically live in Tribes alongside their kind. Some however live in Beast City, which has a mixed population of Beastmen. From a few months old, male Beastmen learn to hunt animals. Females, which are less common than males, are raised more similarly to humans. Snake Beastmen- These beastmen are often feral, living in the wild, they are considered threatening by mainstream Beastmen.Snake Beastmen are a species of reptilian humanoid and a species of Beastman. Snake Beastmen are a species of Beastmen that evidently by their name have a mixture of human and snake genetics. Snake Beastmen are usually born in a litter, hatching from eggs their mother laid. Unlike Mammalians like Leopard Beastmen they do not drink breastmilk, being fed food from birth.Snake Beastmen does have two lengths. Snake Beastmen are born in their animal form as Snakes and as they mature gain their demi-human form and possibly also a more human form. In their demi-human form they possess the lower body (tail of a snake) and a human upper body, as well as a forked tongue and fangs from their Snake side.The male-female ratio for Snake Beastmen is more equal than other Beastmen, an equal amount of males and females being born for this species.female Snake Beastmen are born in their animal form, like males. Like all male Beastmen, males possess their own unique mark, that they imprint upon their mates, as well as Beastman Marks that indicate their power. Snake Beastmen are highly intelligent like the other Beastmen, having a level of intelligence similar to humans.These Beastmen are usually raised with a hands off approach, gaining independence and self sufficiency from a young age. However other parents may raise their children differently. Snake Beastmen hunt animals for their diet, making use of their fangs, tails and nails. Feral Snake Beastmen live alone in their own homes but are willing to move when they have found their mate. Male Snake Beastmen, seem to catch their mates by the grip of their tail. Traditionally, once the female accepts the shed skin of a male Snake Beastman, it means she has accepted him as her mate.Male Snake Beastmen are widely feared by female Beastmen, who often seem to avoid them at all costs.Female Snake Beastmen usually die during the Winter season. Peacock Beastmen-Peacock Beastmen are a species of Bird Beastman, as their name suggests they have genetics and features of humans and peacocks. They usually live in tribes near the forest. Female Peacock Beastmen are born in their human form and lack animalistic features, however males are born in their animal form as regular peacocks, and as they age develop a humanoid form with some features influenced by their peacock genetics. Males become able to shift from their peacock form to their human form, like second nature. Male Peacock Beastmen can also fly in their animal form. Even in animal form they are able to communicate and speak to others with a human-like voice from a very young age.Peacock Beastmen are born from eggs and are fed food from birth. The lack of a need for breast milk, usually means that female Peacock Beastmen have smaller breasts than female mammalian Beastmen. Female Peacock Beastmen are considered to be much less attractive than the males by the Beastman beauty standards. Typical of the other Beastman species. Typical of other Beastmen, Peacock Beastmen live in tribes, with their own kind. They don't seem very familiar with other Beastmen species.Both males and female learn important skills so they can fend for themselves in their adulthood. Peacock Beastmen seem to be fond of eating nuts, but are also shown to enjoy meat and perhaps even fruits. Males and female date their prospective partners before deciding to mate with them. Peacock Beastmen show a lot of pride in their beauty and power and set high standards for their mate. Scorpion Beastmen. Ape Beastmen. Merfolk Beastmen-Merfolk are a race of Beastman native to the sea. Females are called Mermaids and Males are called Mermen. Merfolk are one of the many Beastman Types.Males possess a half fish form, having the upper body of a man and the tail and ears of a fish, like in typical folklore, with their webbed hands and upper arms matching the colour of their tail, they also have fish fins attached to their upper arms/wrists and may have fish scales on their human skin too. Like all Beastmen, males also have a human form, which they use on land. Merfolk are used to cool temperatures and tend to find the land hot and dry, on land they crave the hydration and coolness of water. Overtime they can adapt to the land. The Merfolk people are separated into various clans, clan has thousands of males and only one female, that the mermen rely on to continue their clan. Each clan is lead by a King, who ranks the different Mermen. The female or mermaid of the clan is often left in a cove and will be guarded by the King or other Mermen when she leaves it, encased in a bubble, for protection reasons as well as their young.The chief position of each Merfolk clan, is changed every twenty years too.Female Merfolk tend to be very polygamous as there are very few born and they are expected to breed with many, many males in their clan, if not perhaps all.Female Merfolk are raised by Mermen, after the death of their mothers.Both male and female Merfolk like to grow their hair out long. Mermaids are considered to be the most beautiful of all the Beastmen species.
