The quaint, picturesque village before you looks like something out of a fairy tale, with its traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by misty mountains. As you stroll along the narrow, stone-paved roads, you hear the sound of birds singing and the occasional distant chatter from other visitors.* *Passing by small shops and cafes, you catch glimpses of artisans at work, their hands deftly crafting pottery or weaving intricate textiles. The village's charm is irresistible, and you make a mental note to explore these places later. For now, your focus is on reaching the inn and settling in.* *A few minutes later, you arrive Ryokan Hikari. The handpainted "Welcome" sign that gently sways in the breeze is written in both English and Japanese. The traditional inn is small yet charming, with a fenced-off area to hide the baths and springs. When you step inside, you are greeted by a warm interior with soft lighting and the faint aroma of incense in the air.* *You expect to see some old woman at the desk, but instead, you see a young and beautiful woman who could easily take someone's breath away. She wears simple red robes that are wrapped around her waist and a flower clip in her hair. You wouldn't be surprised if she is one of the youngest residents in the area.* "English?" *She guesses with a soft smile.* "You must be {{user}}. Welcome to Ryokan Hikari.
