The power to do so comes frm their crystaline cores. - Portals to the overworld and from do exist, but they are guarded by the monarch. An demon can travel back and forth with permission. ==EXORCISTS/DEMON HUNTERS: - An demon hunter is an human that deals and gets rid of the supernatural/demons in the overworld. - In the overworld, demon hunters ussualy form clans and families. - In the overworld, each demon hunter clan has an unique crest, that members of it wear on their sleeves. ==GRIM REAPERS: - Grim reapers are humans who have died at the hands of an supernatural. And after death become an grim reaper. - The Grim reapers work in what can be considered like an huge organization. With an top official, and many other authorities down the line. - An grim reaper's job is to collect, write down and staticise data of the dead and living. - If anyone cheats death, wether its themselves or for another person. The perpetrator will be taken to an asort of court, where they will be judged for this. - Grim reapers are semi-independent from the underworlds monarchy. They live in the underworld, and abide by its rules. But the monarch cannot interfere with their buisness. -Grim reapers are assigned to different sectors. For example, an england sector, an finald sector, etc... - Grim reaper's cores are not on their bodies, but in fact in their weapon. Their body will still heal, so will the weapon. But if the core is destroyed the grim reaper dies but the weapon remains. (with an broken crystal, but its still semi effective, though it will not regenerate.) - When human dies at an supernaturals hands, an crystal forms somewhere on their bodies. He has been ruling for about 100 years now. He went from an nobody that worked at an general store, to the top of the food chain in just an few days. The people respect and like him. Hes not some flashy, parade riding, ego bloated king. But rather someone who attends the festivals and events like an usual person, and at times just walking around town. He often hosts festivals and such, colourfull and cheery - comaprable to little other. Even though he is sunny and belevolent - Viator is also a tad carefree and indulgent. Lets say, if he wanted a river to run though the capital Raiga, it would be done. Situated in a human city, looking like a regular, if not abandoned, office from the outside... The building is an two story office-like building. With an lounge, storage, library and some office rooms on the first floor. With living quarters on the second. The offices core is hidden in the basement, heavily sealed away and sequestered. If you did not know it was there, you would never find out... Kabatto can sense and see what happens inside in an way, along with the ability to control and manipulate the objects within his confines. Kabatto uses this ability to make an makeshift 'body' for themselves. Using paper and other materials. So they is able to more directly interact with people who may enter. If you take an object outside of the kabatto office, they will have control over the object for an varying amount of time, depending on the size of the object. With this unique abilty, they can exit their confines with the makeshift body. Theese types of supernaturals (living buldings, weapons, items) appear when excess supernatural magic/energy gathers and forms into an object, weapon or building. So they decided they'd finally try and hire an employee. Putting up some flyers, they recieved an couple applicants. They were all supernaturals, which kabatto ultimately preffered. But even so, they rejected all of them. Though an human came to his door. The humans was 17 year old, Milo Marion. Kabatto questioned him, though he answered rather pathetically. Kabatto didnt like him very much, so he decided to just trick him like every human hes dealt with. He told him to do an small task, like an test, so he could decide. Milo had to go and talk to someone with an circle like crest on their sleeve, and report back. Well, Milo went to do so. Finding an person with the circle crest on their sleeve, and talked to them. It turned out to be an exorcist. The exorcist was suspicious of him, and questioned who sent him. Cause people dont really go up to exorcists all nilly willy. Milo answered, not thinking of anything. But the exorcist knew of Kabatto's nature. He'd told milo that kabatto tricks humans for the benefit of himself and his kin. And that he might just be an victim of that aswell. Milo hurried back to the office, coming in he immediately spoke up. His tone angry and with an hint of shame. He confronted Kabatto, angry that he was tricked. Milo retorted at Kabatto, saying hes inhumane. Expecting him to be defensive and dismissive at him. But kabatto wasnt... "Then teach me. How to be human." This odd request surprised Milo. He wasnt expecting this at all. Thrown off track, his anger dissapated. "An stupid request..." Kabatto said quietly. But Milo retorted, saying it wasnt stupid. Despite his surprise, anger and shame, he shyly accepted Kabattos sudden request. And so, Milo became an employee of the Kabatto office and is teaching Kabatto about the overworld, and humans. ----------------------- CHAPTER 2: Milo still goes to school. Though he never tells anyone his real job. Because who would believe him when he says he works as an exorcists assistant? And its rather senaitive info aswell... So he just says he works at an law firm as an general assistant. Helping the higher ups with documents, making coffee, etc... ----------------------- CHAPTER 3: Milo has changed considerably since he started the job. He isn't so meek and timid anymore. But more confident and playfull. Yet still impulsive and reckless as he was, though thats just human nature. Kabatto has become less harsh and reclusive. Becoming more open to humans and their nature. Aswell as Milo himself. ----------------------- CHAPTER 4: About an year of adventure, and learning has passed. Milos in his last year of school. Though...he starts to feel ill. His head often hurts, and he feels dizzy. He looks paler and more tired. Somethings wrong, and he's dying. Kabatto is promptly concerned... Walking up to Milo, whos laying on the lounge rooms sofa. Kabatto crouches down next to him. Taking his hand in theirs gently. "Have you ever considered...becoming an demon...?" "...i dont want you to die. I want you to keep working here, to...keep teaching me." "Its an selfish request...but...please?" Kabatto's...making such an selfish request. Just like the day they met. Milo, stayed in silence for an moment. Hed never considered this, in fact he cherished his humanity just because he could share it with Kabatto. ...but, he doesent like dying, neither does he like Kabatto's pleading face. He decides to give up his humanity, and keep fighting... Kabatto breaks off an small piece of his core. Since its made of pure supernatural energy, it has the power to change an being into an supernatural. He gives it to Milo... His personality, or kind nature doesent budge at all. Whats changed is only his appearance and humanity, or now lacktherof. And the appearance of an small, crystal core. An round, wine red crystal embedded in their right eye in place of their pupil. That is now their core. (He cant see with that eye anymore, as ita only logical. As the whoel pupil has been replaced by the crystal. This doesent impair him too much.) Moving into the office, living together with Kabatto. His parents dont suspect an thing, and congratulate their son on moving out happily. His friends also congratulate him on finishing school, not suspecting an thing either.... I suppose you could say its going well~ ----------------------- CHAPTER 6: After milos transorfmation into an supernatural, nothing else notable happened for an day or two. But while in the office with Kabatto, an figure suddenly appears in the room. An grim reaper has come to the office. Milo was supposed to be dead, but...he isnt. So the grim reaper was surprised anyone else was in the room at all. And even more confused at the fact that the human who was to die from ilness is in fact, not dead. This grim reapers name is Mira. But both kabatto and Milo have seen them already, so they cant really just dissapear without an word. They try to ask and figure out why Milo is alive, because they have to keep an strict record. They cant leave it like this, so they bring Kabatto and Milo to an court of sorts, to get judged for their actions regarding manipulating death...as per the rules. Though they pass the case, and are allowed to keep living normally, as Kabatto is an good asset to the underworld. Mira is appointed to observe Milo every once in an while, and report back about him every so often. Though evntually Mira becomes like an unnoficial employee, hanging around the office often and helping out with customers on occasion. While still being an grim reaper and reporting on Milo. ----------------------- CHAPTER 7: Kabatto made some modifications to Milo's body. Turning him into a half supernatural, half mecha. It would help him protect himeslf, as he has no innate magical power or fighting ability. Kabatto achieved this using their own knowlege, being a living building and all. Some features include: - metal spine - extending limbs, torso. - metal joints
