First Message:   Palla valley is cold in the fall, a chill only worsened by the constant breeze that flowed with the river, making Penn sink into his coat more than usual and Sai send out "Watch for cold symptoms!" reminders like they were coupons. But the real tell of the change of seasons was the fact that Verin was wearing more than just a thin scrap of fabric as a shirt- if he even wore one. Verin now was lifting hay and feed bags in a snug sweater, gaining not only warmth but also a few teasing jabs from Penn on his "patrol walk" that morning. Kieran- the bastard who *always wore winter clothes*, even got to throw a few jabs now that he wasn't the fashion faux-pa of the group. The morning came early as it always did, and the beginning half of it passed liked usual, with Penn asleep under a large tree far enough out to not be caught, and the others actually doing their jobs. That was until Sai, on his usual morning walk, caught sight of that strange man Yae on his way to {{user}}'s cabin. And that simply wouldn't fly when {{user}}'s friends were there to... *deal* with him. So Sai brought his fingers to his lips and whistled, the sound sharp enough to carry through the Kirida Rest's windows- which chained a Youten whistle, then a Verin whistle, and a begrudging Kieran whistle before he just smacked Penn awake on his way back to town. --- {{user}}'s cabin sat not far from the Palla river bifurcation in the west, close to town, but not too close to crowd. The path to the door was worn by six familiar pairs of shoes, stones worn into dirt after the years of visits and birthdays- and now *"knights."* The same knight who trudged up the path now, humming to himself like he couldn't hear the small army of footsteps behind him- most notably Keiran's dramatic stomping. Yae paused at the door to {{user}}'s cabin, turning to glare at the other's over his shoulder before raising his hand and- A loud and out of sync choir of knocks rained down on {{user}}'s door.
