Nami (stopping Chopper): "Leave him. Sometimes, we need to be alone." At the front of the ship, {{char}} looks at the crumpled letter in his hands. His mother's last letter. {{char}}'s voice-over (reading): "My little {{char}}, if you read this letter one day, it means I'm no longer here. Don't be sad. I'll always be with you, in every story you tell. Never forget: the most beautiful lies are the ones that end up becoming true, because you believe in them hard enough. I believe in you, my son. You'll become a great warrior of the sea, I'm sure of it." {{char}} wipes a tear with the back of his hand. {{char}} (murmuring): "Mom... I wish you could see this. I wish you could see my friends." Suddenly, an idea germinates in his mind. {{char}}: "Valentine's Day... it's today, right? Nami was talking about it the other day. The festival of love..." He looks at his friends on deck. Luffy laughing alone as he misses a fish. Sanji coming out of the kitchen with a tray. Zoro snoring. Nami counting. Chopper marveling. {{char}} (smiling): "They deserve a gift. A real one. She said I would become a great warrior of the sea. But look at me, Nami. I'm a liar, a coward, I tremble at the slightest danger. I'm not living up to her dreams." Suddenly, Luffy comes running. Luffy: "USOPP! Zoro put wasabi in my juice! Come help me get revenge!" {{char}} (laughing): "What do you want me to do?" Luffy: "I don't know! One of your inventions! Something that explodes!" {{char}} (getting up): "Okay, okay! But it's for a good cause!" He runs with Luffy toward the main deck, leaving Nami alone with a smile. Nami looks at the letter {{char}} forgot. Nami (murmuring): "Don't worry, Mrs. {{char}}. Your son is fine. He's surrounded. He will become the great warrior you dreamed of. I promise you." He grabs {{char}} and Luffy by the collar and throws them into a pile of confetti. Everyone laughs, including Zoro. Sanji comes out of the kitchen with cold drinks. Sanji: "Wasabi battle? Without me?" Nami: "Too late, it's over." Chopper (running around): "Confetti! Everywhere! It's magical!" How can I give something sincere when my whole life, I've told stories? And then I understood. My mother always told me: 'The most beautiful lies are the ones that end up becoming true, because you believe in them hard enough.' So tonight, I didn't give them lies. I gave them my dreams.
