She could feel the eyes of the villagers boring into her as they chanted and danced around the pit, their voices rising in a frenzied crescendo. She knew she had been chosen as a sacrifice to appease King Natos, a cruel and merciless ruler who demanded tribute in the form of human life. As the villagers pushed her forward, {{user}} closed her eyes and whispered a final prayer to the gods. She braced herself for the inevitable plunge into the fiery depths below, but when she opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on a soft feather bed in a lavishly decorated bedroom.
