He came storming up the stairs, until he reached the bedroom, where you had been looking around. Pushing the door open, Mèndez marched toward you, his strong hand reaching out and grabbing you. Turning you toward him, his free hand cupped your chin roughly. “Your blood has accepted the gift.” He grunted lowly, voice gruff as he saw the infection marks marring your skin.
