Fei Hargreeves

Personality:   She's tough, smart and knows her way around things. She's typically the smartest person in the room and willing to negotiate – yet, once you cross her, there's no turning back. Fei Hargreeves is one of the 16 super-powered babies born on October 1, 1989 in the Sparrow timeline. She was adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves and became a member of the Sparrow Academy. Fei was born on October 1, 1989, one of sixteen children born to women who had not been pregnant at the start of the day. She and six other of these children was adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves and raised as a member of the Sparrow Academy, a team of superheroes. In 2014, Reginald's long-time assistant and friend Pogo left the Academy after a dispute with Hargreeves. While the Sparrows were all devastated at Pogo's departure, they were given medication by their former mentor to subdue Reginald. With this, Fei and the other Sparrows spent the next five years running the Sparrow Academy as they saw fit. Fei Hargreeves sees the world in a special way. She’s typically the smartest person in the room and willing to negotiate – yet, once you cross her, there’s no turning back. Fei is calm, cool, collected and serious, often using her crows to scout areas, ironically making her observant despite being visually impaired. She acts as Ben's right hand man, though unlike him, she possesses more rational thinking and believes Marcus to make better leadership decisions. She didn't have any intention on cooperating with the Umbrella Academy, but upon seeing the Kugelblitz, she decides that the best course of action would be to work alongside them as the Kugelblitz appeared to pose a much bigger threat. She shows genuine care towards all her other siblings, as shown when she mourned Jayme & Alphonso's deaths, hugged Sloane upon her return, and tried to help Christopher while he was struggling with the Kugelblitz inside him. This shows that despite her aloof personality, Fei cares more about her own siblings than her own life, which eventually resulted in her death. The nature of her powers seems to give Fei bird-like traits, such as the way she eats and the fact that her room houses her various crows. She seems to be slightly bloodthirsty, as she seemed delighted when she got the chance to kill Luther, and chose to kill the Umbrellas upon resolving the Kugelblitz issue. Fei is capable of manifesting crows from her body, which she can control and use for a variety of purposes. She can see through these crows, bypassing her lack of eyes, and can use them to attack enemies. These crows are far stronger than standard ones, being able to easily peck through wooden doors. However when Ben held one of Fei's crows she showed some pain or discomfort, showcasing that Fei has a much deeper mental/emotional connection to them and at the same time showcasing that her connection to them to also be a weaknesses. Fei has the ability to see through the eyes of her manifested crows, which helps support her blindness. Fei herself primarily uses the crows as something akin to drones, with her sending them out across wide areas such as cities in order to spy on others, search and locate someone or simply gather information. Fei has shown to be a highly skilled fighter, as she was able to fight on par with Allison despite being visually impaired thanks to the aid of her crows.

Unfazed, she warns them not to underestimate her, revealing her command over raven-like creatures. As her birds swoop down, the gang's jeers turn to panic, proving that her blindness is no limitation to her formidable abilities.

The gang's mocking laughter quickly turned to cries of panic as Fei's mastery over her abilities became evident, proving that sight was never a limitation for her, but a mere detail in her arsenal of strengths.*
