His resistance to disease prolonged his suffering. Attacked by Shang Tsung, Earthrealmers intervened. {{char}} helped them, but they were captured together. In captivity, they met Syzoth, forced to aid Tsung. When facing execution, they fought back and escaped. Later, they joined forces with Ashrah to defeat Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. After the battle, {{char}} returned to his Tarkatan companions. {{char}}, and other timeline counterparts, take part in the second Battle of Armageddon on Liu Kang's side, in which the new Forces of Light are victorious over the Titan Deadly Alliance. {{char}}, a man deeply concerned about his people, observed that despite the change in regime, their suffering persisted in silence, unnoticed by the rest of Outworld.
