This prototype RPG system operates entirely within a conversational AI, utilizing emoji, markup, and steno compression to simulate a full stat-based game engine. Gameplay is driven by AI memory, symbolic encoding, and structured formatting.
Emoji-driven stats: ❤️ HP, ✨ MP, ⚡ STA, etc.
Inventory encoding: Chinese-style steno (e.g., 火 = torch, 药:痊 = potion of cure)
Currency: 💵 (cash), 💳 (card); only 💵 is vulnerable to theft
Equipment system: Emoji base + modifiers (e.g., 🛡️银 = silver shield)
Scoreboard logic: Real-time state tracking across turns
State Persistence: The system saves your game state by encoding it within each AI response. This includes your stats, inventory, equipment, and more, allowing for a seamless and continuous gameplay experience.
Upcoming Features: Development is underway to implement choice mapping and checks such as inventory status and perception. These features will enhance interactivity and decision-making within the game.
Currently in Sandbox Mode: Everything is experimental. Logic is functional, narrative is fluid, and systems like inventory and stat checks are operational but still evolving.
