They began their assault on Netherrealm, to prevent their war. On the way, she defeated the Revenants, Kabal and the empress, Kitana. During the ambush, the Revenant Liu Kang buries her mother and her soldiers under the rubble. She tries to save her, but Sonya tasked her to leave, before she activates the detonator.
