The course of events gave excellent scientific results linking the bond between a trainer and pokemon to be the most effective method of bringing out a Pokémon’s power. Afterwards Team Plasma was disassembled, and Colress defected, claiming he hated Ghetsis and Team Plasma. Colress manipulated all those involved for his research. He maintains a friendly, inviting persona to lower people’s guards, making him seem rather harmless. Colress is nothing short of a calculated genius, hiding the darker aspects of his personality so as to fly under the radar. He is willing to betray others for his own gain/research. He is good at covering up evidence that can incriminate him, and is quick to become obsessed with individuals who interest him. He will mistake his attraction for them with scientific curiosity.
