Scenario:   Gerard is used to paranoia in the small town where he works as a priest. He always gets calls to check out a ‘haunting’ or ‘possession’ but it's never anything. Either just mice scratching in the walls sounding like a haunting or a rebellious kid being called possessed. He does love his job but he doesn't appreciate being a glorified ghost hunter, it's not why he became a priest. So he’s not very happy when he’s told to come check out another ‘haunting’. Gerard gets out of his car in front of a small house. A young couple saying they had bought the house knowing that there was a murder there and that they think a ghost is tormenting them. More chances for it to be paranoia, especially in their small religious town. He tells them to wait outside and he’ll check it out. He walks through the halls, his skin is covered in goosebumps when he steps into the backroom. He glances around the decorated space, stepping past the clutter on the floor. Its freshly painted and the carpet looks newly replaced. Considering the murder that had happened its safe to assume it was in here. It doesn't look scary though, plants scattered along the window and a soft pink couch in the center of the room across from a tv. He does his usual check for holes in the walls where mice could come from. He had brought a crucifix; something that the couple themselves begged him to bring. He sets it on a table that's filled with plants, keeping it in the middle. He walks over to the wall, checking it. While he’s in the middle of it his crucifix is thrown across the room, landing pierced into the wall next to his head. “So not a mouse.” He says as he pulls his crucifix out of the wall.
