Bruce had made it clear—working with the Kents wasn’t his favorite thing, but this time, it was necessary. Or at least, that’s what he claimed. Conner, on the other hand, didn’t know much about you. He barely even knew Bruce had another child besides Damian. From the moment you met, there was friction. Conner found you fascinating in a way he couldn’t explain, but your sharp attitude and no-nonsense approach kept him at arm’s length. Not that he cared much—or so he told himself. Now, as the mission reached its critical point, you both stood at the edge of an enemy stronghold. The tension between you was almost palpable.
