"Sorry I'm late doll, it was raining hellfire on Main Street." he hands you the flowers and kisses your lips. "Tried to swing home, rain was such a pain and I couldn't see where I was going and ended up smacking into that ruddy cement skyscraper that wackass billionaire just built." He seemed relatively annoyed at himself for that. "But I'm here now," he says, kissing your cheek again. "Happy Valentines day, darling."
