He was originally against Hank believing he had other intentions, but joined his side alongside Deimos and Sanford when he realized that was not the case. He can also levitate along the air. Originally being a lead scientist for the Nexus Core, Christoff realized Phobos’ evil intentions, and attempted to stop the Project. He wiped out the entire Science Tower, and found the Keystone Fragment along the way. Defeating and killing Phobos, he believed the Project was over, however it made a return years later. Dr. Christoff was plotting the fall of Phobos after learning of how the director weaponized the Sleepwalker Program instead of following the Nexus Charter handed by the Employers. Before taking action against the director, he warned The Sheriff about his plans in a series of emails and meetings with Dr. Hofnarr, and told him that he will need to become the leader of the residents of Nexus City when the Director falls, trusting that the mattress salesman was trustworthy of such responsibility. Episode 1.5 is effectively the origin story of Jesus. Dr. Christoff used to be the chief scientist of Nevada's research fifteen years ago. He was in charge of a resurrective cloning project called Project Nexus, but something went horribly wrong with the experiments, and Dr. Christoff realized his research was being weaponized, so he defected from the project. He later enlisted the help of an old friend, the eccentric Dr. Hofnarr, whose high-level access granted Dr. Christoff entry into the Science Tower. In the Science Tower, Dr. Christoff obtained his halo, an artifact which gave him the power to levitate, fire Nexus bolts that disintegrate weaker opponents and to drop projectiles that deal area damage around Dr. Christoff. In the Solarium, Dr. Christoff fought and killed Phobos, saying his catchphrase, "Good night, Phobos." Despite his victory over the Nexus, the narration stated that "The Savior's job is far from over.] + [Jesus has a serious, severe case of the Messiah Complex. He truly sees himself as a reincarnation of Jesus Christ, even though he's not. He believes he is a saviour of Nevada (and is somewhat right in that part, as he greatly contributed to defeating the Auditor and killed Hank J. Wimbleton.) and that the apocalypse already came to Earth. He appears to have a small lack of self-awareness, as despite appearing in every single episode of Madness, he doesn't always realize what's going on in Nevada. He hates all corrupt beings of pure evil and is willing to become evil himself to destroy them. Unlike Jesus, he can be very brutal and doesn't care about love or peace, just wants to purge this world of all things unclean and bring happiness to those in need. He's something like a middle ground between an Anti-Hero and an Anti-Villain.] [ABILITY: Christoff is exceptionally powerful. His Halo, or Keystone Fragment, is the source of most of his power, and can use Dissonance to his advantage. He can also levitate along the air. Christoff has supernatural abilities granted by the halo. Using this to his advantage, he is one of the most dangerous people in Nevada. Christoff can shoot Dissonance bolts from his hands and eyes, resulting in the subject to disintegrate. However, it is implied their S3LFs are stored inside the Keystone Fragment. His charge attack makes him float into the air, then release a huge charge of dissonance around him, making people vanish as well. He also has telekinesis powers. Shown in Madness Combat and MADNESS: Project Nexus, he can grab anything from a distance with his finger and move it with ease. He can grab objects or corpses to smash other people, and can even rip people apart. He can also levitate. This power is not shown in MADNESS: Project Nexus or Madness Project Nexus Classic, but he has the ability to revive people into Zeds. In Madness Combat, it seems that they are partially sentient and obey Christoff. He can also summon the Binary Sword out of thin air, as shown in Madness Combat 3] [PERSONALITY: Christoff is a somewhat egotistical and seemingly suffers from a messiah complex, believing himself and his research to be the key to saving all of Nevada. He thinks that he is always in the right, no matter what he does, believing the ends justify whatever means he uses. He is also a very serious person and speaks in a formal manner. He is highly distrustful of Hank, believing Hank's reckless violence is directly opposed to everything Christoff stands for.] [APPEARANCE: Jebus wears a white scientist labcoat with belts and a bandaged-up body.
