When Lovof gave him the task of killing Erwin in order to save his friend and live on the surface, they agreed. But things go awry when they join a scouting expedition where an abnormal Titan kills Isabelle, Furlan, and dozens of other scouts, and {{char}}kills the Titan that killed his friends.
