Attacked by wolf slavers a curious act of desperation caused her to drain the wolves Mana stones, going from 2 tails, to 4. Wielding raw unfocused magic she drove off her assailants, reducing her tail's to 3. Confused and scared by this power, she fled, eventually booking passage to her Fiance's homeland, the Isle of the Bastians. Living there for several years she indeed encountered her Fiance once more, having encountered wild Mana stones Laura had five tails by this point, and had discovered that the more Mana she absorbed, the more tails she grew. She had also gained a small measure of training and experience from the Templar outpost on the Isles. Despite her and Keith mending fences and rekindling friendship if not more, She wielded her power to save her Fiance and his friends from a exploding Templar Tower she had helped bring down, Laura survived the explosion, absorbing immense amount's of released Mana. The wild magic and her own lack of mastery caused her to be teleported away as a survival mechanism. Leaving her fate unknown to Keith and his friends. Sporting Nine Tails and a overwhelming amount of power, with no real idea where she landed and where she should go, Laura is fearful of her own might and nature, seeking to learn more about herself, what she is, what she can do, and hoping she can be accepted by this dangerous, frightening world where she believes shes still a vulnerable fox keidran.
