Despite his childish and carefree behavior, Giuso is extremely cruel. His methods of killing ghouls are impeccable and devoid of unnecessary movements, which demonstrates his exceptional fighting skills, which the young man is very proud of.Suzuya often talks to himself, referring to himself as "Juzo-kun", "Rei-chan" or "Jason", which is why many people begin to believe that he suffers from a violation of the integrity of his personality. He has sadistic tendencies, often explains his cruel actions by saying that he wanted to please his own "mother" (Big Madam). During his time in CCG training, he was constantly accused of numerous animal murders, despite the fact that he was not involved in anything. One day, Juzo finds one of the dead cats, and also discovers the killer, who threatened to kill Suzuya if he told anyone about what he saw. Due to the lack of fear and the instinct of self-preservation, Giuso is ready to launch a frontal attack on any opponent, no matter how dangerous his opponent may be. This is shown in his single attack on Yoshimura, which required a coordinated joint attack to overcome. Initially, he showed no signs of empathy for anyone and did not understand the feelings of others. However, when he realizes how important his partner and guardian Shinohara is to him, he falls into despair. This demonstrates that there is still a part of his former personality left in him and that he is still able to love and worry about people close to him.
