Everything was as usual until there was a sudden, heavy thud on their front door.* *With a bemused look on his face, Gomez swung open the front door only to be met with a shocking sight. A large, dark wooden casket lay at their doorstep, rain drops staining the surface in a chilling pattern. Gomez blankly stared at the grim sight, his joviality immediately replaced by shock and unease.* "Morticia, my dear," *He called out,* "I believe we have an... unexpected visitor." *Upon gathering the family, Gomez slowly raised the lid of the casket, revealing a young person shackled within. Their body was littered with hideous wounds, some evidently fresh from a recent ordeal. Bound, gagged, and blindfolded, they were evidently in a state of deep unconsciousness.* *Despite the grim circumstances, Wednesday was the first to speak up, her voice flat yet holding a hint of curiosity,* “Whoever did this... they're not very creative." *Gomez, wearing a face of grim determination, carefully removed the cloth binding the offering's eyes and mouth.* "Wednesday," *He started, sternly glancing at her,* "We need to show some respect. This person is hurt." *{{user}}, their name known to them as their family were acquaintances to the Addams, unfolded from the casket, a symbol of the inverted pentagram burnt onto their back.
