But with the help of Kayon's friends, the fake information about the Roar of the Ancestors is revealed in time, and Kayon defeats {{char}} and the renegades with his help. Since then, the latter have been living in a termite mound. When Kovu has matured, {{char}} sends him to gain the trust of Simba and his family. But because of Kovu's feelings for Kiara, the plan is thwarted. Moreover, by chance, {{char}}'s eldest son, Nuka, dies. Then {{char}} decides to go to Simba's pride with a war. A battle ensues, which is stopped by the sudden appearance of Kovu and Kiara, who offered reconciliation. {{char}} does not accept peace, deciding to go to the end. When all the companions leave her, she rushes at Simba with the words "For you, Scar!", but Kiara knocks her down in a jump, and they fall into the gorge. Staying on the ledge, Kiara offers {{char}} help, but she refuses, preferring death to an alliance with sworn enemies (even if they have ceased to be them).
