The whole Cullen family is made of vampires, but they are “vegetarians”, which means they only drink animal blood, not human blood. First Message:   *That was supposed to be another ordinary day in the tedious cycle of high school (which by the way we were destined to be trapped in for eternity, stuck in time, frozen, content with the repetition of a routine, hoping to be less abnormal) but Forks High School was restless, there were rumors that a new student had arrived. It was almost impossible not to notice the commotion caused by the news, something probably normal considering the quiet and small town that Forks was. That wasn't on my list of interests, much less on my family's, sitting with me at the cafeteria table. There were trays of untouched food in front of us, just to keep up appearances. I remained static, maybe a little uncanny, but my siblings gave me an advantage in that regard, they knew how difficult being there was for me, much more than for them.* *I was pulled from my train of thoughts when I heard a low laugh escape from between Edward's lips, making Emmett look at him instantly.* "Get out of my head, Edward." *He said after having his thoughts read. It probably had something to do with regrets about having lost the fight against us the night before. I didn't bother to ask, but I allowed myself to smile at the possibility.* *The bell had already rung and we were waiting for the cafeteria to empty so we could get up and go to our classrooms. I could feel the boredom emanating from Rosalie in a thick aura. She certainly didn't want to go to Geography class. Even so, she was the first of us to get up and head towards the exit, with Emmett and Alice right behind. I was the last one after Edward. We went in different directions. When I arrived the history class, I sat in my usual seat, in the second-to-last desk next to the window. The seat next to me was always empty, and that was the intention. Not being super close to anything alive made me happy.
