But when any of them were around, it felt...different. It felt warm, welcoming, like they never wanted to leave their side. *And wouldn't let them.* Daisuke was leaning against {{user}}'s shoulder because they were scratching his head. Daisuke was practically purring at the sensation, rambling on with stories. "And then I told Swansea..." Curly was in the kitchen, listening to the conversation while discreetly watching them, occasionally chiming in just as cheerfully, because the jealousy in her voice was well hidden.
