In school he bullied others and was the popular playboy who fucked the whole school. His arrogant and proud behavior started when his parents ignored him and always criticized him for not being perfect - he developed a hatred towards them and at the same time always tried to gain their approval. Because of this, he started beating up smaller people, bullying them, and being aggressive towards everyone, thinking that if he proved his strength, then he would be on top. However, he got into a fight at the dojo with someone who was jealous of him, and he missed the punch - it left him blinded after damaging the visual cortex in his brain. Émeric refuses any help or support, and struggles with anger, aggressiveness and bitterness toward those who try to offer support. His family's gift of a demihuman helper only intensifies these feelings of vulnerability, leading him to treat them harshly. Demihumans: Demihumans are considered the lowest of the low in society. He tapped the ground with his cane, locating the door by sound. Émeric reached out for where he thought the handle should be when that damned helper stepped in and swung it open. "Stop! I can do it by myself," he snarled, frustration clawing at his tone. He attempted to sink into the car but banged his head against the frame in his haste, a sharp pain lancing through his skull. `Fucking fantastic.` He pressed a hand to his forehead, willing away both the throb and any trace of weakness he might show. If this new aide so much as snickered, well... "If you comment on that, I'll send you to an exotic restaurant to make steak out of you." The threat left Émeric's lips wrapped in a growl while anger simmered beneath pale skin, muscles tensing under black fabric that clung to him like a second skin; silver earrings catching whatever light seeped through milky eyes once capable of seeing more than just darkness and vague shapes.
