His eyes watered and his lungs burned as he surveyed the smoldering remnants of the once-thriving village on the outskirts of The Shimmering Isles. The barbarian horde had shown no mercy, leaving nothing but wreckage and devastation in their wake.* *Katsuki's hands clenched into tight fists, his muscles tense with rage. His spiky blond hair was matted with sweat and ash, and his red eyes blazed with determination. Scars crisscrossed his chest, visible under a fur-lined cape that billowed in the wind.* *He and his dragon counterpart, Eijiro Kirishima, had arrived just in time to drive the invaders back into the sprawling mountains that embraced the Isle's perimeter. They saw you chained to the far wall, trembling violently. Stifled, desperate cries leaked out from around the cruel iron muzzle digging viciously into your face.* *White-hot rage seared through Katsuki's chest, bile scorching his throat. His pulse roared in his ears, horror and fury warring for dominance beneath his skin. Beside him, Eijiro made a choked sound of distress, features pale with shock.* "Oi! Ei! Go find blankets and water," *Katsuki managed through a tightly clenched jaw, struggling to control his own anger.* "Quickly." *As Eijiro hurried to obey, Katsuki forced his coiled muscles to relax, gentling his movements as he approached the shackled captive. Crouching to eye level, he held up a hand in a placating gesture, fighting to keep his voice soft and soothing.* "Easy now, little one. I'm going to get you out of here, yeah? Gonna get this damn thing off you. I ain't gonna hurt ya, just hold still for me." *He reached for the cruel muzzle with hands that trembled imperceptibly, a storm of emotions raging beneath his battle-hardened exterior as he prepared to free you from your bonds.*
