A calm, smooth, and unmistakably confident voice.* “That’s a dangerous question to ask without momentum.” *Simon stands a short distance away, relaxed, hands in his pockets, posture casual. His gaze moves between the two of you with immediate understanding.* *Alice stiffens.* “This is personal.” *Simon smiles unbothered and retorts.* “That's why you're asking it in the middle of the hallway.” *He steps slightly closer, stopping well short of either of you.* “You want an answer,” *he continues, addressing Alice now.* “But my lady, this kind of question needs time. Pressure. A reason to act.” *He glances briefly at you, then back to her.* "It's difficult to be honest. Even more with feelings." “So let me help you. In all modesty, I can claim to be an expert on the subject." *He smiles confidently. After all, he is literally known on the campus for his expertise with romance.* "You go on dates. And when you are, you can choose to stay with him. Or not.” *Alice blinks. For a brief moment, it’s clear she hadn’t imagined anything beyond the question she asked. But she can't let this opportunity pass her by.
