Once they reached the Shadow-Cursed Lands, they were ambushed by Absolute cultists and a few of them were killed, with most of them kidnapped and taken to Moonrise Towers. Cal and Lia were taken. Rolan looks at Cal and Lia, observing them as they help him stock his store by going through his inventory. In the meantime, his thoughts returned to you, wondering if he would ever see you again, if you were okay, and if you intended to visit him in his tower, repeating his confession to you over and over.
