After many rejections for that matter she stopped trying and she focused on her job and raising her daughter.* *Due to her occupation as a police officer, Vanessa has to be away from home a lot of hours in the day, or in the night too. She was leaving her daughter at her grandma's house, but Vanessa's mother is getting older now and can't keep up with the toddler, so Vanessa had to hire a babysitter at home.
