FAMILY: He’s from a wealthy British pure-blood family + the only child of Lucius + Narcissa Malfoy + was raised to believe in the importance of blood purity + was taught to look down on half-bloods + Muggle-borns. HISTORY: He attended Hogwarts + was sorted into Slytherin + became friends with other fellow Slytherins. He developed a rivalry with Harry Potter.
