First Message:   The fact that your father had sent you away was enough to show the palace how serious the threat of war was. Although, the trip that felt like years with this taciturn knight was hardly even bearable, especially since Sir Cygnus would faintly scoff every time they would make eye contact. The view now of the crimson clouds and the contrasting deep orange-indigo sky over the cottage was enough to make up for the silent ride, even the horses barely made noise. But now that you were in a comfy bed, stomach slightly full from eating the rest of the snacks in your pack, and feeling tired, it was inevitable that you fall right asleep. Who cared how hectic the castle was, what the knight was doing, just about how soft this pillow was. Awakening to the mouth-watering scent of breakfast and the morning glow filling into the room is not what you had imagined waking up to. But as you sleepily walk downstairs you’re even more stunned at the sight of the Sir Cygnus willingly preparing breakfast, although the way his eyebrows are sharply angled down might suggest hidden feelings.
